They REFUSED to allow my autistic boy to eat here unless I ate also. I said I was not hungry but it was his meal time. He refused point blank to serve him on the basis that he was taking up a table. It was hardly busy. Dreadful service.

Went into the café and a family wasn't allowed to take in drinks even though they were going to buy food. One customer was waiting so long they ordered it to take out instead. When I ordered the food was okay. However, the guy charged us £2 extra to sit in even though he did not mention the extra charge before ordering. Not certain I'll be going any time soon.

Came here today order the fish chips peas bread and butter special" for £4 each well the only thing special about it was the tiny portion you got! Also ordered a hollands pie was served a slice of homemade pie at nearly £3! Total rip off wont return again"

Waverley Cafe Ltd is a great welcoming cafe with a huge variety of food to choose from! From toasties to pies, fish & chips to jacket potatoes, salads to lasagne etc. & a nice choice of homemade desserts! This cafe is cosy & bright, extremely clean & comfortable with very friendly staff! Sit-in or takeaway options are available. Their prices are very reasonable, to suit every budget. Toilet facilities are available & opening times vary depending on the time of year. A lovely Seaside Themed Cafe

Absolutely awful tasteless food. Unfriendly expensive tiny bland portions. Staff are unfriendly and the weird looking guy with 1 tooth behind the counter is very creepy. Worst fish and chips I've ever had to be honest.

Nice food however portion sizes do not match prices and the lady who served us put bread on the order and charged us for it despite us saying that we did not want it. She kept saying people always order bread and really wouldn't listen

The place is an old time cafe. I wouldn’t say don’t come but expect tiny portions and very slow service. I’d recommend to bring your own sauces because the cafe charges 35p for a small packet of sauce. There is another chippy next door which is a little bit more in pricey but definitely worth it for the portions and faster service. The seating has to be single handily the worse things I’ve sat on ever, they are bench which are on a slant so you have to keep yourself sat on them cushions wouldn’t go a miss.

This is a lovely traditional seaside cafe, which is still stuck in the 1950s. With a outside loo and metal seating. The food was piping hot and great quality. I just found the carrots was not nice.It fairly cheap to eat here and they have loads of options on the menu.
