Always a delight to dine here! Nice and comfy atmosphere. Love their full English breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes and they do lovely coffees, hot chocolates and smoothies too. The staff are always so friendly, attentive and pleasant too.

Wow! What an amazing breakfast. 1st class service, food and coffee. Easily the best I have had in and around Colchester. Will definitely be coming back for more. 10/10Definitely my favourite breakfast in colchester.

Great little place in a wonderful setting, very bespoke yet traditional with inflections of modernity that celebrate art and style without detracting from the building. Fantastic service from everybody on staff and the food is cooked to perfection. Can’t fault it, even if I wanted to. Highly recommend!

Delightful little place. Great food and a good choice for our vegan friends too. High quality coffee and a cozy atmosphere. They were very kind and adapted when we had an extra friend show up for our prebooked table. Would definitely return. Have recommended it to others too who are looking for a place for brunch.

Tasty food, great coffee. Good service. Just a bit short of personal space. Tables are so close next to each other. Also great desert.. extra items to add to the breakfast or lunch cost 3-5 pounds. Makes the whole meal very expensive

The place is not very spacious but has a cosy environment. Always satisfied with the food and coffee at every visit. Service is welcoming and friendly.A bit pricey but since we can’t get an alternative elsewhere in Colchester… will have to visit again and again.

Lovely cafe on the corner opposite the city castle, park and the first sight centre. Very good decaff coffee and tea plus scones very fresh and tasty. Good cake and menu selection too. Staff very nice and friendly. Well worth a visit.

Sausages and handful of chips.£5.50. Which says Sausages fries or beans.. OR?? Beans was £2.50 extra... the orange juice for a CHILD in a small plastic cup was £3. I asked at the front if I could order my daughters food first and she said no I had to wait for the guy to serve us. Bearing in my mind is kicking up a massive fuss being 1. Really disappointed. Won't recommend to return
