Holyrood Park
Holyrood Park in Edinburgh is a stunning natural landscape that offers breathtaking views of the city and surroundings. The climb can be a bit challenging, but it's definitely worth it once you reach the top. It's essential though to wear appropriate footwear for the terrain, as the path can be steep and rocky. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Holyrood Park and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh for a great outdoor experience.

Beautiful place specially in summer but only 1 thing disappointed from the same place 1 way go up to the hill which is mostly close. We been twice there but could go by car. People needs to do hiking which is not easy woth children. But if u manage to go on Hill it's Beautiful view from there

Holyrood Park
Holyrood Park in Edinburgh is a captivating blend of natural beauty and historical significance. The iconic Arthur's Seat offers panoramic views of the city, while the diverse landscape, including Salisbury Crags and St. Margaret's Loch, provides a unique escape into nature. The park's rich history, intertwined with Scottish royalty and ancient volcanic activity, adds an extra layer of intrigue. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, history buff, or simply seeking a peaceful stroll, Holyrood Park offers a memorable experience.

This is a must experience park when you visit Edinburgh. We hiked every hilltop in the park and discovered well marked monuments along the way. The views were spectacular. There are some hard areas to navigate so be prepared with appropriate footwear. Hiking poles are a must for people with mobility issues once you get off the main trail. I did not notice any restrooms while on the trails. Children should be carefully attended to as there are drop offs and strong wind gusts on the hilltops.

Amazing place on the edge of Edinburgh. A walk up to the top of Arthur's Seat is well worth it for amazing views and photo opportunities. If you can't make it all the way, there are still great views to be had half way up.

Holyrood Park in Edinburgh is a true urban oasis! This vast green expanse, nestled right in the heart of the city, offers an array of natural wonders. From the majestic Arthur's Seat, where you can soak in panoramic views of Edinburgh, to the serene St. Margaret's Loch, it's a haven for nature lovers and hikers alike. What's truly remarkable is how this park seamlessly blends nature with history. You can explore the ruins of Holyrood Abbey and the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the official residence of the British monarch in Scotland. The juxtaposition of ancient history against the backdrop of the modern city is awe-inspiring.Whether you're up for a challenging hike or a leisurely stroll, Holyrood Park has something for everyone. It's a perfect place to escape the city's hustle and bustle, recharge in nature, and appreciate Edinburgh's unique blend of natural beauty and heritage. Don't miss it during your visit.
