I recently purchased my first shotgun from the gun room, the staff were patient, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable providing excellent guidance for someone who is new into the sport. I would highly recommend the service they provided.

A riding lesson for my 68th birthday, finds me 18 months later in the Wadswick Country Store at Coresham near Bath, choosing a new bridle for Rocco, taken on loan from the excellent Transwales Trails Trekking centre for the winter. Surely the only country store with its own landing strip for guests!An enormous and comprehensive selection of all major quality brands of country wear, animal feeds, gun room, and all manner of equine tack. Well trained, helpful and friendly staff, and a cafe/restaurant which is worth a visit in its own right. An enjoyable half day’s retail therapy for outdoor sports enthusiasts

Although I’m rating Wadwick store it’s really the gun room who deserve the praise, really fantastic service, if it’s not in your order generally appears the next day and your always updated with a phone call, really friendly staff, good prices and you get what you want. Great knowledge of every item and a fantastic range of everything.

What a great find! Lovely food and wine and very well stocked shop. Salads etc grown in own polytunnel, even has its own airstrip! Very friendly team there who we spent some time chatting with about its history and development. Highly recommended. Sorry again about the broken wine glass!

Really big space with everything you can need. I went in needing wax for a wax jacket and came out with a lot more than that. Really top notch stock and excellent staff to help.

I just bought a pistol from Stuart and he gave a wonderful, friendly, non patronising service. I even made him to make up a romantic story about the background of the 2nd hand pistol which he did marvellously. Poor Raul" :-)I had the best time using the pistol today and really looking forward to joining a local gun club."
