First visit with Dr Anna @ gohil dental practice , Melton Road. Very good service. Had a cleaning and filling done by Dr Anna. I'm glad that she's my dentist. Highly recommended Dr Anna!

When you get that reminder phone call from Gohil Dental Practices secretary it goes a long way as we don't always remember . As for my dentist Anna she is lovely as ever, her kind nature and high spirits settle you down for your nerve racking check up. Good or bad news she has you sorted with the best dental advice suited for you.

Very clean practise, staff always helpful.The dentist Lena is reassuring and always willing to answer any queries and questions. Happy I changed my dentist practice. Best thing I ever did.

Dr.fotios kontominas done very good job. I normally have injection for cleaning bit with his support i had cleaning without injection today. He was very gently while doing cleaning.

Exceptional dental practice, the receptionists were kind and Dr Lena Orfanidou provided excellent service: listened to all my questions and explained the treatment very well and also carried it out very well. This dental practice is also very organised, I got called into the appointment at scheduled time and when it was time for the appointment the Dr took her time with the treatment. Overall, this dental practice is very welcoming and skilled. All staff are brilliant. Thanks.

LATEST UPDATE ON 10TH DEC 2023. I NOW HAVE A FURTHER UPDATE TO ADD TO MY REVIEW! DUE TO NO RESPONSE TO AN OFFICIAL LETTER I HANDED IN FAO PRACTICE MANAGER ON 22ND NOV, WHICH THE RECEPTIONIST SIGNED FOR:I am booked in with a Dental Surgeon on 13th Jan 2024 to try to repair the damage to my gum (explained below). My face around my mouth/chin is badly swollen & numb, but my damaged gum is extremely painful. I am now proceeding with a claim through a Dental Negligence Expert - Gohil you had a chance to correct my shocking issues but chose to ignore it!THE ABOVE IS AN UPDATE TO THIS REVIEW:On 30th Nov - i attended an amazing Dental Practice in Leicester. X-rays were taken & immediately shown to me on the screen by the female Dentist. There are actually 2 teeth embedded in my gum, which she cannot remove. So i have been referred to a Dental Surgeon, as i need an operation to remove them. Due to Zafran - the Practice Manager at Gohils - total lack of a response to a letter i handed into him (i know he received it as i ensured the receptionist signed for it) i will now be making a claim for negligence causing pain & permanent damage. I had dentures & extractions in their clean & welcoming practice. One of my extractions was extremely painful - Orfanidou smacked my gum with a silver hammer type tool to remove it - leaving me with a massive dip in my gum fragments of 2 teeth embedded in my gum. I complained & the Practice Manager refunded my £326 fee - clearly accepting fault. My dentures are horrific, i had to file the top ones down, as my teeth were so big i could not even close my mouth, the bottom one has a chunk missing at the front, like a wavy line. Also, my friend - who is a Dental Nurse at a Reputable Practice has imformed me that my Dental Plates are too big & thick for my mouth, looks like i have a gum shield in my upper lip. I had already attended A&E & Walk In Centres who do not deal with these issues. I then approached 3 dental practices who informed me they cannot deal with me - as Gohil have a duty of care (wheres the DUTY & WHAT CARE)? I initiated a claim through dental law, but did not pursue it after the Practice Manager - asked to meet me at 9.30am on Friday 17th November 2023. So i chose not to pursue my claim, explaining to The Practice Manager that it would take a couple of years & the biggest winners would be the Claims Company. I did not want Gohil to pay massive costs & i did not want a huge payout - i just wanted what i paid for. I arrived today Fri 17th Nov at 9.30am, as requested by him. He literally walked into the waiting room, slumped himself against the radiator on the wall & basically refused to speak to me - but it was he who requested we meet?So he basically requested this appointment, then would not acknowledge me - just told me there was nothing wrong with my dentures???Yeah they look fine - if you're blind, as he clearly must be! I am now calling NHS Helpline, report a dentist before i proceed with my claim for negligence. Yesterday (Fri 24th Nov), i had an emergency appointment with JDRM in Loughborough, who confirmed my gum is irrepairably damaged (a damaged gum cannot be restored). It is also infected so they prescribed me with Amoxycillin. I couldn't have asked for better care. The BUTCHER who literally SAVAGED my gum at Gohil should be struck off & the Manager should be dismissed! I notice that the 'OWNER' leaves a lovely Thank You to all the complimentary reviews, but doesn't seem to want to publicly respond to my review - strange that! Though there isn't anything he can say in his defence!!!

From Gohil's Dental Practice, you can expect first-rate treatment and exceptional service: I came in today and was very pleased with the amiable and attentive staff. The receptionist team were very welcoming, and since it was my first time at the practice, they kindly explained things to me. Unlike another dental practices I was called in to my appointment exactly on my scheduled time, which really impressed me, and on top of that, my dentist, Dr Lena Orfanidou, did an excellent job on my treatment and was overall very nice. Overall, the staff are skilled and understanding, and the dental practice is amazing, would recommend.

Dr Anna at Gohil surgery Melton Rd is a wonderful Dentist. She really cares and takes her time. She is the best Dentist in Leicester!

This review is for Dr Mahsa Abdoli. She is amazing. Professional and highly recommended. Due to her professional judgment and referral for further investigation, today I no longer chew to tobacco. This comes from a regular tobacco consumer of 4 times a day. Due to her encouragement, medical experience I am learning to free myself from any further trouble!
