Have been coming here for years, a lovely place with a great range of food and drink. Lots of halal and vegetarian options and the patisserie is incredible! Always great service!

This place is incredible. Nice location, a stone throw away from Wanstead Station. Ample parking on the side roads. Halal food and a great range of options.On a warm summers day, this place is the ultimate place to enjoy your breakfast, lunch, tea time and evening meal. They have a huge variety of desserts, cakes, snacks. Along with a good range of burgers, fish, chips, pasta and so much more.The quality of the food and service is excellent. I visited this place with high expectations but was disappointed. While ordering, we specifically asked for vegetarian options, and the lady did guide us well for it.The food was not that promising, bread was not fresh and we were served cup cake with marshmallow, luckily we didn't eat it. To our surprise, we asked the staff members if it was vegetarian and they replied it was hallal, they clearly don't know the difference between vegetarian and hallal. Would not recommend anyone this place for vegetarian options..

An interesting spot.. went there on a recommendation. The staff is very friendly and ambience is good. Went on a weekday and it was really busy. The service was prompt and we were served straight away. I had the eggs royale (served on a brioche, not an English muffin.. not convinced), and the Mrs had the florentine. The food was decent but the desserts in this place are amazing! Thay being said their afternoon tea looks a better deal and would probably have that next time we visit. Decent spot overall.

Amazing cafe lots of choice on the menu. Waiting staff very attentive with good customer service. My meal was so well presented and really delicious will definitely be back soon.Keep up the good work.

Extortionate prices for average food and poor service.£7.20 for a baked potato with only butter£14 for a sandwichNot only were the prices obscene but the waitress repeatedly got orders incorrect. When I mentioned an incorrect drink but that I'd accept it anyway, she said no" and snatched it away from me.There are so many better places to eat in Wanstead

Went to Belgique was lovely place nicely decorated.Ordered a Mocha unfortunately was like drinking choc power with water. Was the worst mocha I’ve ever had and to finish it of was like a zoo so noisy with 5/6 kids running around. Very surprised Belgique letting children run around like that. Not considering health and safety and other customs disturbance. It was like a playground. Never again

Amazing place... was sceptical after reading a couple of reviews but then we decided to give it a try. And it was a completely opposite experience. Just loved every bit of it..!! Lovely staff and tasty food... will be back again.

Belgique Wanstead Cafe
It was on my list to visit Belgique before covid, but then it never happened. Finally, today I got to visit with a friend, and I absolutely loved the place, staff’s cordial, patient and friendly service with no rush and hush to shoo us out as soon as we finish eating, it holds much bigger space than it seems from front.Preparations were quite nice and fresh. I really enjoyed their patisserie and chamomile tea.I even got some patisserie as take away for my kids and really enjoyed Hazelnut eclairs, Orange blossom.Lovely space, lovely preps and very cordial staff..its first but definitely not last. I will visit again and again.
