Nearly died. I'm extremely allergic to prawns and ordered their meat spring roll. I mentioned I was allergic to seafood and no one warned me about the spring roll. When I called them after having a bite, which could've sent me into anaphylactic shock had i not had my medicines with me, the worker said that they didn't have enough space on the menu to put that it contained prawns. He then said that I should have assumed that the meat spring roll" also contained prawns. Not once did he attempt to apologize. He was extremely rude and defensive throughout the whole conversation. Utterly horrible service. Would give them lower than 1 star if possible."

It was pretty tasty.I really appreciated the amount of gluten free items on their menu. It was totally worth the trip and well priced.

Despite the place looking nice, the food itself was tasteless and seemed low quality. I wouldn't recommend any of the chicken dishes. Honestly you'd be better off going somewhere else.

The worst Chinese takeaway food in Edinburgh. Greasy, over-salted food. Even the curry sauce tasted burnt (how hard can it be to make curry sauce?) Do yourself a favour and heed the other negative reviews here - order somewhere else.

I ordered a chicken curry it was the worse curry I have every had the chicken curry was like a dog's dinner is was absolutely disgusting and ranking never you this takeaway every again people should avoid this place as they can't even cook when they are handing minging food out to people like this shocking

Ordered on their app after a very long day at work and waited over 1hr for delivery. When I phoned up to enquire where my meal was I received a lot of attitude from the person on the other end and was told the driver left 5-7minutes ago. I was even told the route being taken by afore mentioned driver. 15-mins later I had still not receieved my delivery and called up for a refund. Was told the driver needed to be contacted first and was hung-up on. Still waiting for refund 20-mins later. Will not be using this takeaway again and have deleted the app as a result.

Look at the photos of this chicken curry. It is swimming in oil. Old STINKING fryer oil. The chicken is in little bits including dark meat, not the nice slices of chicken breast that you'd expect. Binned after smelling.Read the long line of scathing reviews and avoid this place. Worst Chinese I've ever experienced.

I have used Ricebox in the past and I am usually satisfied with the standard but lastnights offering was abysmalI ordered barbecue spare ribs that wasn't barbecued, no flavour and no meat on ribs, sauce was watery.Special fried rice....food just about luke warm.Chicken with blackbean chilli sauce chow mein which not only had no flavour but why did parts of the chicken have batter ??May be a while before I return.
