It charged the battery in my car successfully...we drove home

On my very first drive with a brand new electric car I arrived in the dark somewhat clueless about how to charge up. The result two hours of misery when the lead became trapped in my car 'filler' and I didnt know how to release it. In the end all sorted and away much later than expected...but guess what, a week later I received a £100 parking fine for staying over 2 hours (by 17 minutes) when most of it was spent being 'held hostage' by the charging pole. Needless to say I appealed and unbelievably my appeal was rejected. Is this the first parking fine in UK caused by the actions of an electric charging point?

Two spaces with reasonable size are served by one AC/Chademo post. Located the shortest possible distance from the services with kerbless access.The services themselves are being refurbished.

Slow old DBT unit, only one there, needs updating and more units adding

The charger worked well but idiots charging to 100% and then not returning for half an hour is very annoying. Once it reaches 100%, either release the charger so someone else could potentially use it OR charge them for occupying the charger. Also, 1 charger for a large service station is ridiculous.

Often busy as it's the only charger at Peartree Services so expect a queue. Have been charging here since 2017. The DBT chargers are quite slow!

Why did you only put one charger at such busy services?

All the Type 2 chargers were out of order.
