Grand Gates

My thoughts are that the customer service was poor. We had been quoted £150 to install an app and then Jamie decided that because that couldn't be done due to an existing system, that the £150 was a call out charge instead.Luckily we still got our £150 worth as the fob was set up, which has helped but in all honesty Jamie's pushy and rude attitude rubbed us both up the wrong way. He asked for cash and my wife said “oh you would like cash” to which Jamie replied “I ALREADY TOLD YOU IT HAD TO BE CASH!” which had been suggested previously, but as he had failed to show up on four separate occasions since 9th November, plenty of time has passed, so my wife could be forgiven for this slipping her mind. Although, I had cash on me and paid it on the day so it wasn’t a big deal and I don’t think Jamie’s attitude was warranted.We wouldn't recommend using his company.

I fully recommend Grand Gates Ltd.. The quality of work and the product is of the highest standard. The facility of control using the key fob or your iPhone is of great use. With the iPhone you can check, open or close the gate from anywhere. If any damage occurs during installation then repairs are professionally carried out. I have no regrets whatsoever in having my gate installed and fully recommend Jamie and his backup staff at “Grand Gates Ltd”

They came out to look at our gates as they had stopped working. He left with a fuse and we never saw him again. I received an email saying it could not be fixed and that “would we like quote for a new system” I got the quote at several thousand pounds and decided to ask an electrician to look at it.He replaced a £3 fuse and got it working again.

Great job done on our lovely gates and fence. I had several other people round to have a look at what was required to install automated gates on a large drive that was on a fairly steep slope and they were unable to provide a solution.I also signed up for a maintainable plan for peace of mind. A big thank to Jamie for his endless patience.I would be happy to recommend Jamie and his team.

The proprietor, Jamie, is a nice guy who seems to have his customers’ interests at heart. However, he needs to try and get along better with his tape measure.

He obviously listened in regards to non qualified electrician because I am qualified and I was working for him recently but you are right he doesn't pay his staff their wages as I am still waiting on mine 3 months later.

Excellent job carried out with Grand Gates on our side gate. The quality of workmanship produced was first class. Looking forward to having them back again soon for the next project!
