Bournes Moves - Surrey

Salesperson that came around to quote sold us on a 3 day plan which we arranged the rest of our move around. When the removal team turned up they told us they were working to a completely different plan, meaning we had to change things around with other suppliers at a great expense and inconvenience. They refused to engage with us on a partial refund.Added after Bournes' response:Thanks for getting back to me, but these are still completely empty words, with no offer of any financial compensation.

This was a 3-day move; first day packing up, and then moving over 2 days. Chose Bournes from 4 quotes not because of price (they weren't the cheapest), but because their quote was the most thorough and detailed, and our contact with them had been very clear and they had listened to what we wanted. Their management of the whole move was excellent, from the team who handled it - polite and friendly, with a strong team leader in Dean who frequently checked that we were happy with everything, to our contact at their office - Emily, who called daily throughout the move to check all was going well. We will not hesitate to use Bournes for our next move.

The team from Bournes provided a really good service, right from the first contact through to the final delivery of our belongings, they made it the least stressful part of our whole move. Very impressed with Bournes from the moment the assessor visited to the last item being moved. We had a complex move to two locations and into store but it was simple with Bournes who took care of everything. Overall a very obliging team where nothing was too much trouble. Bournes Moves arranged my move from Texas to London (UK). Throughout the entire process they have been incredibly helpful and communicative. Moving continents is incredibly stressful, but thanks to Bournes Moves, the actual moving of my belongings was the least stressful aspect. Jake Waters was fantastic throughout and worked with me to plan the delivery of my belongings at a time that worked for me. He oversaw every aspect including customs so that I had nothing to worry about. All my belongings arrived intact and the service throughout was fantastic and friendly. If I ever move again I will not consider any other moving company than Bournes Moves, would highly recommend them!

We emigrated from the UK to Australia in June 2022. From start to finish we were happy with our choice to use Bournes. Very professional, emails and calls answered promptly. The guys that came to pack were a joy to have around for the 3 days. Always polite and questioned if they were unsure what we wanted. They worked really hard and meticulously. I mentioned a few things of mine that were sentimentally precious to me to one guy, when we saw our belongings a few months later I found a box marked VERY VERY fragile written all over the box, and wrapped so that they were unrecognisable. Bournes did a truly exceptional job throughout all stages of our move. A lot of attention was paid to understand which items were particularly valuable or fragile, and we were advised on how best they should be packed. The crew who packed everything had clearly been briefed of what was required, so much so that nothing was damaged. They were not just incredibly efficient, but also extremely polite and kind. We will not hesitate to use their services again if needed.
