Expected it was some bigger. But was interesting anyway. Espesially when realize that its the former real base. Has also nice cafe with good choice of cakes.

A comprehensive museum filled with incredible aircraft, images, and memorabilia from the former U.S. Air Force bases at RAF Bentwaters and RAF Woodbridge. This wonderful collection captures all aspects of life for the enlisted women and men, officers and family members stationed at the Twin Bases. This museum is a hidden gem and really should not be missed. I was stationed there in the late 1970s and was truly amazed and thrilled to see the history of the bases and people captured so comprehensively. Fantastic work by a dedicated group of knowledgeable volunteers!

Had the time of my life while stationed here! Was 18 years old and attended LIVE AID at Wembley Stadium! No concert I have ever seen can ever match to music or the artists that I was privileged to see that day! Being stationed at RAF Bentwaters was the BEST experience of my life. All these pix were taken in 1985 & 1986.

Was invited to look around this fantastic museum with my family and my boys loved it!! Loads of interesting things to look at inside and outside, the stories we were told were fascinating and the fact that the bunker was still being used not that many years ago.Great for the whole family, especially if you like to see an alien.

Great museum. Friendly staff. Aircraft outside need some TLC due to being exposed to the climate but interesting all the same. Fascinating exhibits in the War Rooms etc. Definately worth booking on the Restoration Hangar Tour. Very informative. Bonus is the great cuppa and cake in the cafe !!

What a surprise, so interesting. Loads of reading to do, allow plenty of time for your visit. We were also taken to a hanger where several planes are being renovated by volunteers. Very friendly staff and very knowledgeable.

A small museum, but what a beautiful place inside. It was wonderful to have memories of my childhood (I grew up in Woodbridge) and to see the photos and models of the base. It was also wonderful to spend time listening to Master Sargent Hale and his experience of being on the base. I look forward to visiting again next year
