A wonderfully supportive riding school! When I first returned to riding, I'd completely lost my confidence. Only 4 lessons in, I've gained so much through Hannah's calm tuition. I'd recommend Stonelea to everyone!

Absolutely love Stonelea - Hannah is incredible and so encouraging. She’s helping me be a much better rider and sorting my confidence out. Her horses are amazing, responsive and so much fun to ride! I’ve learnt so much already and I’m always really excited for my lessons. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful riding school and horses. This is the first riding school that the owner and clients have made me feel truly welcome. If you need a boost in confidence with horses this is the place to start. Hanna (the owner) is wonderful, she makes you feel welcome and safe.

My 3 year old has been asking for a riding lesson for a while now. She can get a bit overwhelmed in new situations especially with unfamiliar faces. Hannah the owner told me that they would take it at her own pace. Which they really did! Emily who took the lesson was fabulous with my daughter and she took to her like they had been life long friends!! Everything has been really easy and straight forward from booking, to instructions on how to access the property, to the actual lesson, which was made fun with their superstar Shetland Fifi looking after my daughter!I would highly recommend anyone who’s wanting to start riding to use Stonelea. My daughter hasn’t stopped talking about it all day and has made me book another lesson straightaway which I don’t mind doing because it’s worth every Penny!Thank you Hannah, Emily & Superstar unicorn Fifi!

I have been having lessons at Stonelea for a few years and thoroughly enjoy every lesson. Hannah’s horses are all beautiful, unique, full of character, well looked after and each one is a pleasure to ride. Hannah constructs interesting and varied lessons, which keep us learning and improving. The yard is small and welcoming. I also love the training days and competitions, and feel honoured to be part of the Stonelea community.

Stonelea is an exceptional school for everyone, whether they’ve never ridden a horse or are looking to be challenged. Hannah is a superb coach and makes sure to tailor lessons to your level of confidence. The horses are all amazing and definitely not your average school horse. These are forward going horses that love their job. Can’t wait for my next lesson!

This place is amazing! Always struggled with my confidence and security in riding and Hannah has helped me come on leaps and bounds! The horses are fantastic, the school arena is wonderful, and the whole place is friendly, welcoming and so supportive. Would happily give way more that 5 stars if I could and would recommend to anyone looking to ride.

Absolutely fantastic. We took my 3 year old, cautious daughter for a 30 minute tiny tots taster lesson and I was so impressed. She was introduced to the pony, shown all the tack and helped to tack up. She was allowed to groom the pony until she felt confident. She then had 15 minutes ride at walk and trot, and walking over trotting poles on the ground with wonderful encouragement and praise for her efforts and has left on top of the world and full of confidence. Fantastic instruction, great set up, we will definitely be returning.
