Visited Robertos last night, the food was absolutely delicious.the staff were very friendly and attentive and was really nice to chat to the chef/owners.We were seated to our table and our drinks/food order was taken promptly. We had asked if we could have a short break between the starter and the main which was fully accommodated. We will definitely visit again as found the whole experience very enjoyable

Went for the pizza pasta deal (£7.45 each eat in) with friend and our kids. Lovely homely atmosphere, great food, chef chatted at every table, waiting staff so cheerful. A bargain evening especially great to know they're still there these days! We'll certainly go again!

How disappointing. Our table was at 7.30 and they left us at the bar for an hour. Once we asked if we could be seated the waitress said “oh sorry I thought you were chatting” how bizarre we thought. When we finally got our starters an hour and a half after we got to the restaurant, the tiniest portion of calamari came out. The chef came out to apologise as he said it was his fault we were seated late, as there was only one chef in the kitchen. He then showed us pictures of the kitchen of the night before, which the ceiling was leaking with lots of water. Why did the kitchen open when it clearly has been a health and safety issue the night before?? The my food was mediocre, my friend’s muscles were uncooked and had to be spat out. They gave us complimentary glasses of wine which then accumulated lots of fruit flies in them!! The manager did not offer any compensation for this service/experience or for our waiting time. DO NOT EAT HERE. Waste of time and money.

The best Italian restaurant in the area.Very good and fresh food and great service.Large portions that you can barely eat.Italian atmosphere,music and wonderful owners.I will return here 100% and recommend it to anyone.

First time my friend and our children had been here we were greeted straight away and shown to our table. The food was amazing and the young ladies kept checking everything was OK not only that but the chef came out and engaged with ever table he'd cooked for and made sure again everything was to everyone's liking. The offers are amazing the service superb I have recomeneded and we will definitely go back again.

Lovely, throwback restaurant, with great accommodating staff.The seating arrangements are brilliant with tables for any size party.The food is excellent with a variety of dishes n desserts mmm..only snag portion sizes a little small. Overall lovely restaurant.

6.30 booking, so v quiet....If you want authentic Italian food, friendly service and a calm, intimate atmosphere, this is THE place to go.Specials board is always worth a look.
