Went for an MOT and they tried to scam me of £1000, took it to another garage and got told i shouldn’t have been failed on certain defects. The parts ended up only costing me around £150 to buy, shocking considering people’s financial situations lately. Wont be returning again!

Absolutely amazing service! Have always used my own mechanic, but due to huge waiting time, I booked in with North East Auto as it’s also one of my closest garages. Very apprehensive due to previous bad experiences with garages, but couldn’t have been further from the truth! Lee specifically was absolutely incredible and understanding to my family constraints and the need to be back on the road asap. The turnaround of my car was much quicker than I had expected, and completely resolved my issue. My car is now booked in for a Service and MOT later this month, and I doubt I’ll take my vehicle anywhere else now! Outstanding service.

Went in with a car problem that needed diagnostics but they could not find a problem so they did not charge me. I was very impressed with their customer service.

Took my car here awhile ago for mot, failed on bushes, they quoted ridiculous amount so I just said I'll do it myself and I'll book retest thanks. No suprise they charge for retest and don't do them on Saturdays which made it awkward, as I booked original test on Saturday so I dont have to take time off work. When I replaced bushes they weren't even that bad, advisory at best. Anyway this was enough to lose my custom for life, I wrote a review at the time not sure how it's been removed.Fast forward a year my partner is from the area and booked a mot and service here without my knowledge. Failed on brake discs and pads, and a tyre, which all may of been true I didnt check beforehand. Anyway she was charged £1000.These reviews are baffling, filter the 1 stars and its people who seem to have the same experience as myself. But so many 5 stars with the polar opposite experience. I hate feeling like I've been taken advantage of, if you do maybe look elsewhere.

Always have a great experience when I visit this garage. Lee is absolutely fantastic. He’s always very informative and explains things in layman’s terms, which is extremely helpful when you have no idea about cars. I believe this garage completely rids you of any preconceived opinions that you have on garages and how they operate. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Had a great experience at this garage, a truly authentic and genuine place! We had major gear and clutch issues starting just before the weekend. Rang up Saturday and they managed to get us in for diagnostics on the Monday. Just picked the car up on Wednesday after having a new clutch and flywheel. They took plenty of photos to show the failed parts and the cause of the issues. Another great point about this business is that they handled all of the communications between our warranty provider, stood their ground over using the appropriate parts and not the cheapest (which our warranty provider insist on), and kept us updated every step of the way! No hidden surprises or issues so that was great!Overall, this is going to be our go to garage! Couldn't recommend enough. Thanks to the whole team!

CONNEN DO NOT USE THIS , STAY CLEAR AT ALL COST !! Tried to charge 75 year old woman £1100 for break pads and timing belt fail on MOT , refused to pay and wanted a second opinion the other garage re ran the test in which no issues had been found except breaks that came to £150 , thieving scum the lad behind the counter has a Rolex I know how he affords that on the backs of hard working people!!! AVOID

This is my go to garage. No job is to big or to small. Just picked my car up after having a brake light micro switch replaced. Perfect job. Had a good laugh and joke with the staff whilst paying.
