Their staff cancelled my sessions, claimed I cancelled it, only gave me credit instead of a refund. So not only do I miss out but now I need to waste my time to get my money back

Odd opening times on weekdays at 4 PM... mainly because it's owned by the council and used by the school morning till afternoon. No swimming.Badminton, TT courts are okay.Gym equipment is standard too. If you dont like crowded gymnasium, this is the place to be. Ample equipment reserved for a select few it feels. Fee at 20 bucks a month for the gym seems okay too...

Convenient sports center with good facilities but the sports hall needs an HVAC to maintain a sensible ambient temperature. Badminton nets look old and dirty. Staff are friendly and polite, which is always nice.

Decent gym.Large amount of free weights. However machines are always broken and usually takes around 1-2 months before they get fixed. and can get very busy at 4pm on a weekday when it opens. No squat rack so it's difficult to do free weight squats. If you're serious about leg day don't go to this gym.

Been to several parties here (generally for under 8's) there is normally a bouncy castle type thing and a bouldering wall. There are what look like 5 a side football goals out, all for the sole use of the party. There is ample free parking. There always seems to be bring your own food cake and drinks. Lots of space for the parties.

The staff seem a bit more laid back than you would expect. The sports hall hasn't been updated (bar a small climbing wall) since I left school there, and that was 22 years ago. The party we attending was great but that was more due to the parents contribution than the sports centre. There was no input from staff during the allotted time.

Very big charitable community centre, good staff, looks good, toilets and bathrooms are clean, but when it’s come for activities really hard to book in, have so much of membership has been issued and issuing but they don’t have that capacity to serve them the same, just keep selling the membership without the limits, should have some calculations or budgeting before taking more members, I have been a member for badminton club, I only managed to book 2 40 mins sessions for the whole month and also it’s for 10:20pm session, really disappointed. May you should thing twice!

Not only badminton courts are booked out by other external clubs under club's block booking criteria" but also management isn't willing to extend help. No email reply

Extremely disappointing center.Badminton management is rude and have a tendency of pushing bigger issues under the rug and focus on unnecessary things to make it difficult for the members to play. Also, afaik nowhere in the TnCs for racquets membership was it mentioned that block bookings will always be given priority. Even when the regular members spend time every night struggling to book on an extremely bad app to find slots only to be cancelled couple of hours before the slot because someone forgot to do block bookings and now wants the players to drop all plans and do something else last minute. To add generally this happens over a phone call where the actual slot isn't cancelled which sometimes results in random fines which we then have to convince the center to revoke as it was their fault they allowed such malpractise. The management has a tendency to either not provide enough details or vague details(and definitely not an incident number for followups) when complaints are made or witness accounts are provided for players hitting other players. The worst part is that the customer service which is in CC for most communications never respond when they see the center management responding in unacceptable and irresponsible ways. For the players the goal is to go play after work to de-stress and not feel stressed out with whether taking families along to play might put them in danger.Happy to add more details over phone or direct email if required and if Better customer service decides to make the gameplay at this center safer/better because by the looks of this it feels like no one really cares as long as they can keep getting money out of our bank accounts every month.

Badminton Courts have now been repaired and new floor layed.Application for booking the courts still need more work. Better needs a better company for IT management.
