My husband and I have been customers of Hayes Engineering for many years and strongly recommend them for all matters concerned with car maintenance, service and repairs.They do a thorough and complete job always seeing the task through and their prices are fair.Today I had my annual service. I had what I thought might be a slow puncture. They checked, found it to be a sensor and immediately phoned to inform me, tell me the price and check I wanted this work done. This is not unusual. You are kept informed throughout with Hayes.When I changed my car a few years ago they gave me some good advice on what to look for and when a friend had issues with a dealer over her car, failing to properly fix a problem (for their brand) I recommended she tried Hayes and they not only found the issue but charged considerably less than the dealership.Hayes will come and collect my car if it's a problem to bring it in, will give my elderly husband a lift home if I am not available when he takes his car in and will go out of their way to provide an excellent service all round. And always with a smile and enquiry about my family. Every time I see them I mean to write a review, although they have never mentioned it and now I am determined to write something recommening this excellent business to anyone in the Erith area wanting first class garage services.strongly recommend them to anybody in the Erith area looking for a first class garage.

Took my car here for a full service, MOT, and wet belt change,(timing belt) they said will need the car for two days. i dropped it off on monday (am) and got the car back tuesday. (am) (i was expecting it back wednesday) they phoned me with updates of how it was going, what a great garage i recommend hays highly and will use them again thank you

Brought my car(Subaru Outback) there to be checked and MOT.They said it needed new CV joints(inner) and brake pads, I gave them the go ahead to replace them for both sides.Two months later(February 2020 or 1500 miles) I heard clicking sound on roundabouts etc. I thought it was the outer CV joints as I knew the inner were replaced in December 2019.Went back in the shop to ask for price of the outer CV joints and wheel bearing as mine were hauling quite a lot. The fella at the desk surprised me with the words - WE DON'T SERVICE SUBARU'S"!On the next day I went with my invoice that I've paid £420 for the works and ask them if they were servicing Subaru's

Fantastic service and very knowledgeable mechanics. A bit on the pricey side, but hey, at least you know what you pay for.

I’ve used Hayes a few times over the years and never had any issues. Have had my car and my bike MOT’d and the price is reasonable. They make a cracking cup of tea whilst you wait too.I also had an issue with some clips for my exhaust system. I bought the relevant parts on eBay and dropped by to Hayes to ask if they could fit me in at some point to fit them. They chucked my car on the ramps there and then and i was back on the road within 20 minutes, and they charged me a very good price for the work.

Very impressed with the honest and efficient service at Hayes Engineering. They were recommended to me by my neighbour when my car developed a brake fluid leak, so booked it in at the earliest opportunity. Within an hour and a half of having my car, the issue was investigated, repaired and road tested. Their staff are very friendly and professional. I will definitely be visiting them again when required. Highly recommended and far better than any main dealers I've experienced in the past.

super nice and polite lady at the desk. I had all 4 of my tyres replaced. Job was done properly and efficiently. highly recommended.

Use this place for my MOT, helpful efficient service with lovely staff. Honest people here that will not try and pull one over on you, comfortable waiting area where you can see inside the garage to help pass the time. Was offered a hot drink whilst I waited, will always return here for my MOT for the wonderful experience and genuine work :)
