Loved staying here, rooms are great, bar is great, staff are great, locals are friendly and the food awsome. Nothing to complain about here and a banging nights sleep to boot. Will stay here again and hopefully soon. Ranks in the best hotels I've stayed in. Thanks guys....

No hot water. Unable to wash, shower or shave. Waiting on maintenance and informed it was an ongoing problem. Basically an attitude of that's how it is.

Close to the canal, if you are travelling by boat. Food was good, standard Marston menu.They allow for dogs and the staff appeared friendly.However, if smoking bothers you, avoid. When sitting inside the pub, it felt like I was smoking. It was unpleasant and really harsh to a non smoker.

Comfortable bed and functional room. Room was cold, central heating radiator was lukewarm; my nose and hands were frozen. Small plug in heater in room was on full and this took the chill out of the air. There was a layer of dust around perimeter of room that vacuuming missed. This could have been easily remedied by using vacuum attachment. En-suite bathroom with heated towelling rail. Bathroom was cold and would have benefitted blinds at the window. Basic complementary biscuits, good beverage selection though not the feeling the 'whole milk' provided. Breakfast was good.

This is a lovely pub/guest house either to stay at or have a meal, prices are reasonable, food is good with pricing in the mid range, suitable for parties staff are friendly, helpful and thanks to Darrianne Cable for the lovely welcome.

Came in to play some pool with my mates couldn’t find the pool cues Darrianne was happy to help also didn’t mind bringing drinks to us while we was playing.. it’s nice when people go out the way and the extra mile

Stayed here for a wedding in the area. Very friendly staff, great breakfasts, pleasant and clean rooms.
