Natalie is a dog training genius! She has definately changed my approach with my Ridgebacks (RRs are Natalie's speciality but don't let the deter you, she's fab with any breed!) for the better. With her positive influence I have two very calm, happy, intuitive dogs who totally look to me for their direction. Choosing the breed and researching a breeder is just the beginning of a process, bringing your puppy home is exciting. challenging demanding rewarding. But professional help support guidance is an essential Puppies grow and develop so quickly, bad habits can last a life time. Natalie 'East ridge dog training' was recommended us by our breeder. We have a now 19 week old Rhodesian rides back puppy. lock down could have caused so many problems. thanks to one to one zoom sessions and full support we are making wonderful progress as we learn what and how to be good parents to our puppy. Learning how to teach him and listen to him. Natalie is so professional knowledgeable and direct,Her understanding of dogs puppies and how to get the best out of them is out standing. Having session to suit is such a good investment in having along lasting well trained puppy and dog companion, one that is social well balanced and fun. Natalie has been a fantastic support to my family and me since we bought our new puppy. Her invaluable pre-puppy consultation really helped us know what we were letting ourselves in for and helped to start our little guy off on the right track and settle in with us.She's given me great advice on loose lead training as our very excitable Border Terrier had started to pull A LOT on walks. She really has a great way with dogs and I can't recommend her enough!

Natalie helped us out massively with our overly boisterous Staffordshire Bull terrier Mia which we are so thankful for, she is very calm, gives precise instructions and taught us how to deal with Mia's behaviour in a better way.Mia now is calmer, not jumping up at guests as much and even goes to her bed when told!!We wouldn't hesitate in using Natalie again and would 100% recommend her if your dog has any behavioural issues.

Natalie has helped me so much! I have a one year old bullmastiff Bonnie who I was really struggling to walk, she would tense up in fear over the slightest thing like someone getting out of there car, people having a chat on the pavement, a bike going past. She would look so scared and refuse to walk which would leave me panicking and retreating back home. I was feeling so deflated and thought I was doing a terrible job at being a dog mummy. So I got in contact with Natalie she really helped. I was a bit worried at getting a trainer as I do treat my baby a bit like my baby, and thought I would have to sacrifice cuddles and playing for walking confidently which was not the case at all. Natalie showed me that I have to let her be a dog when we’re out and because she’s interested or staring at something it’s not because she’s scared but genuinely intrested in her sorroundings. I still have a way to go with Bonnie but I can’t express how happy I am to be able to enjoy going for walks with Bonnie rather then dread it. I highly recommend Natalie!!!

Natalie is in a word ‘fantastic’ - she’s a game changer. We were struggling with a few issues with our 5 month old pup and she helped us figure out why the behaviour was happening, what it meant to the dog, the trigger and to find an effective solution. She is great at spotting inconsistencies in your training - interpreting your training how the dog sees it!! and explains them to you in a very supportive and kind way. With her guidance we’ve been able to change our behaviour and have a better relationship than ever with our pup. She has a deep understanding of the RR breed and is incredibly supportive. She offers genuine practical advice/training methods which can fit into your life without you having to change your life to fit the dog!! Natalie was a life saver when we needed someone who could give us sound advise on anti social behaviour of our dog. She was honest, relaxed and non-judgemental. She evaluated the situation, took her time to go through all the options with us and also give us personally mental support whilst still being fair to on the fact that we had to change our approach. i would highly Natalie to others.It is difficult these days to find trainers that are actually fully qualified, that are willing to tackle the really difficult issues and adjust their advise to your situation. Natalie at East Ridge Dog Training has been amazing. She has helped me and my family so much with both the dogs training and our behaviours. When we now have visitors to the door we can control the situation with us being in charge rather than the dog. Natalie is a great communicator, who is very calm and patient. Highly recommend.
