Chiff Chaff Design

Bindu made two roman blinds for our boys bedrooms. We had a lock-down project of updating our 6 year-old and 2 year-old sons bedrooms having recently moved into our new home. Due to our availability to do DIY it was a very protracted project, so first I would like to thank Bindu for sticking with us beyond the initial email exchange. She was very patient and applied no pressure!I had already selected the fabrics that I wanted, but Bindu was invaluable in finalising the blind design, selecting the paint colours for the walls, and offering 'styling advice' on how to finish off the rooms and show our hard work to its best advantage! We lack confidence in interiors, so this advice was well worth the additional (small) consultation fee. When we also requested coordinating cushions for the bedrooms, she took time to consider the design, and (as with the blinds themselves) showed a mock-up of how the cushions would look.Sensing our waning interest in DIY, Bindu also added our bedrooms to the roster of the blind installer, and was onsite at the time of installation thus ensuring a neat and exact fit. Frankly, this was a bonus to have one job off the list, know that they had been installed under Bindu's exacting eye, and release my husband from attacking the freshly painted room with a power drill ;-)!As well as her obvious expertise in making blinds and interior design, Bindu is a good communicator - keeping us up-to-date with fabric delays, and when the fabric did come in, she prioritised the making of that blind.It will come as no surprise that we are all delighted with the blinds! They are immaculate: have a lovely weight that ensure they sit nicely, the stitching is invisible and one really has to really inspect to see the joins in the fabric. They are clearly blinds of quality!We would not hesitate to avail ourselves of Bindu's services again!

Bindu was flawless in her customer service from start to finish. After our initial phone call where she came across very friendly and helpful, she sent me a comprehensive email detailing what services she offers and the cost. We then set up a house visit where she came extremely prepared with colour swatches and mood boards based on our conversation around colour schemes and ideas. I know what I like when I see it but I don't have the vision on how to get there, Bindu created that vision which put my mind at ease that we would achieve the look I would love. Once we had decided on fabric she kept me updated on time frames for completion, depending on the availability of fabrics. She came and fitted the curtains and cushion covers, so it really was very easy for me. I can't recommend Bindu and Chiff Chaff Design enough. Absolute value for money!

Chiff Chaff designs created a beautiful bespoke roman blind for my daughters room and we love it. It’s even better than I imagined and brings her room together beautifully. I’m so impressed with the quality and it’s constantly complemented by friends and family. Perfect addition for a new baby and new home. Highly recommend, thank you again Bindu.

Bindu was excellent (and very patient) throughout our whole process of installing curtains and blinds. She was fast at responding and efficient with the installation. Although we had picked out many of the fabrics ourselves, Bindu helped find us some beautiful additional fabrics for rooms we hadn't decided on.

Chiff Chaff Design was recommended to me by a friend. I had just bought new sofas for my lounge was looking to replace my existing curtains to finish the room. I didn't know where to start and was so pleased to meet Bindu, who helped enormously. She doesn't just make beautiful curtains, she also spends time with you to understand your style, likes and dislikes and provides advice and different fabric options. Bindu also introduced some different colour ideas to me that I wouldn't have considered but that worked really well and we ended up going along the lines she suggested. I found her use of mood boards really helpful to make decisions and felt that Bindu was genuinely interested in my project and finding the right fabric. I'm over the moon with the end result and the quality of workmanship is excellent; the curtains are beautiful and work really well as we had planned! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bindu and Chiff Chaff Design and will definitely use them again in the future.

Fantastic service from start to finish. We initially commissioned Chiff Chaff Design to make some Roman blinds for my daughter’s bedroom - the window is a very awkward ‘box’ bay with very narrow side windows which are too narrow for ‘off the shelf’ solutions, but Bindu was totally unfazed and came up with a fabulous solution. Bindu worked with my teenage daughter to choose colours and fabrics to fit the mood which she wanted to create - and even helped us to choose paint colours for the walls.We also commissioned Chiff Chaff Design to make a Roman blind for my daughter’s study - she longed for a more mature look to replace her childhood blind.We were very impressed with the service that we received from start to finish. The blinds not only look beautiful, but the finished quality is outstanding. Bindu is very professional and is a pleasure to work with - we are so thankful to have found her.
