Premier Inn Huddersfield Central hotel

Be aware on arrival that it's at the end of an industrial estate! My Sat Nav just told me I'd arrived as I was driving down a street!The check-in is now automatically released, so don't ask for a key 5 mins early, as the staff literally can't. There is, however, a restaurant adjoining that's decent.2 buildings, and 2 floors in each. Also 2 car parks, and 2 disabled bays, so plenty of room. You need to provide your reg number on check-in to prevent getting a parking fine.Room was lovely and well-maintained. No lingering smells, air con easy to alter. Your room key needs to be put into a slot by the door to provide electricity, though.Canal gives gorgeous views and lovely walks. Town centre is across the main road from the hotel, Sainsbury's is across the overflow car park, so easy to get anywhere and anything you need to on foot.Happy with our stay here and would happily return

As a visiting choir of c 25 we were well looked after. Rooms perhaps a little tired but clean and a good shower.

We been at the Hotel for 6 nights. The rooms look really cold not mutch in there and looks not inviting to stay in the room for long. Because there been not a Toiletbrush in the room and the Housekeeping said if it needed to be cleaned than tell the reception until noon and we come the next day". I thought thats a joke. I gone than to B&M and bought a Toiletbrush

We stayed here last week..the staff are very friendly and helpful..rooms are clean and comfortable..the restaurant can get busy especially breakfast..even under pressure the staff still tried their best to make sure you were accommodated whilst still remaining friendly and professional.

I was in the shed" which is just across the small car park. Had a fairly big room work a lovely view of the canal. Really peaceful and had a good night's sleep. There are two car parks

For parking go to: secret.hills.freed (what three words).Good location, not the best rooms we've had in a Premier inn. It's nice on the canal and near to the city centre but wasn't the cleanest.

Our stay at Mountain Majesty Retreat was simply awe-inspiring. Nestled in the embrace of towering peaks, it offered a sense of grandeur and wonder. Our lodge room was spacious and had a balcony with panoramic mountain views. The hosts were warm and provided invaluable tips for exploring the nearby trails. This is a place where the mountains stand as sentinels of time.

Very comfortable and clean. The receptionist that checked us in was friendly and knowledgeable about the building we stayed in. The view wasn't much but we weren't expecting the beach and sea lol.Will definitely visit again.

Stayed here in December 2023 had a room on first floor with view of the canal and boats. Although it was busy it was quiet and the room was adequate. Comfy bed, large bathroom. The only thing i would change is what you unpack your clothes onto..no drawers, its a shelves and the way the hangers are were awkward to get clothing on and off. The staff were friendly. As I arrived I couldnt park so just down the road paid £8 from 24 hours, my fault as didnt realize theres parking just ocer the canal aswell to this Premier Inn. The food served here was great would recommend the full english breakfast.

Fantastic place right next to the canal moorings at Aspley Marina. Beautiful location with great views of the marina where you can sit and watch the world go by. I stayed in one of the accessible rooms which was great. I have motor neurone disease and having the extra space was a welcome bonus. The room was spotlessly clean and very well laid out. Same for the bathroom which had a 'Drive-In' shower for wheelchair users. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and gave lots of useful local information. I would definitely recommend this hotel one hundred percent and will definitely be returning in the future. Great hotel, great location, great staff and service and an all-round five stars. Thanks very much for making my stay so enjoyable.
