Our pond came with the house we bought and we did not know what to do with it. The pond had a number of issues that needed to be fixed (re-lining, filter, pump etc). We contacted John from Clearview Ponds, who was very helpful and gave us some good advice and options about what we could do. We have been using his services now for about three years. He has done a number of jobs for us and we have always been very happy with all his work. We find John to be very pleasant and professional. Nothing is too much trouble for him. On one occasion we had a real emergency with pond and John did not hesitate to come the very next day and quickly resolved the problem. We would recommend him 100%.

This review is going to cover good and bad points with (John) Clearview Ponds.PositiveWe have been using Aqua techniques (also known as the Pond Guys) based in surrey since we've owned the pond. When we had an major issue in November, we received an estimate to reline the pond at considerable expense b them. They didn't even offer to look at the issue when they were next near the area, even though we have done and bought everything through them. John drove down, identified the issue in minutes, fixed it, and because it didn't take him long, he wouldn't charge me. In todays money hungry day and age, I found his approach endearing and I really cant recommend John enough. I look forward to utilising his services for all my Pond jobs henceforth.NegativeThe issue with Koi ponds is that when something goes wrong, you need someone to help with urgency. This is Johns downfall, and he has in the past scheduled (before I used Aqua techniques), but then been unable to attend. John seems to be a one man company and is super stretched.However, my advice is before going to others, including some who are so use to charging prices to millionaires, give John a try first - and if he's available, you know you're going to get the best value for money, professionalism and work possible.John/Clearview Pond is without a doubt a 5 star outfit.

Having had my garden landscaped decided to look into options of having a pond installed. Contacted John via google. He was very helpful in helping me decide on the best option to suit my requirements. In the end I went for a raised pond with reclaimed sleeps and couldn’t be happier. Would highly recommend using Clearview Ponds services.

John has been doing maintenance on my koi pond for some time now and he has always been reliable and given a brilliant service keeping my pond looking clear and great. He recently helped fix a filter issue I had in an emergency whilst I was last on holiday getting there on the same day to help. I would recommend John to anyone who needs pond work and maintenance.

I called Clearview Ponds as my water feature was not working. He came round the same morning and sorted the problem. It only took a few minutes and he would not take any payment, despite making the journey to my house. He was helpful and pleasant and i would definitely use him in future, as well as recommend him!

My pond filter had stopped working and so asked Clear View Ponds for help. Within an hour of emailing a visit was booked for the day after to have a look but unfortunately John couldn’t make it due to late running of previous work but I was warned of this and called on the day to explain and visit the day after was booked instead. I got a text to say he was on his way and within an hour the problem had been fixed which I was not expecting at all. Great, professional and friendly service.

Pump stopped working (nothing to do with Clearview Ponds) & we were desperate for some help to avoid damage to the fish. Called John & he started to give advice over the phone, but when he found out that we lived on his way to work, he just said he'd call in. True to his word he was there within an hour. He knew what the problem was, fixed it, advised what we should do moving forward for pond maintenance.We're booking him to carry out this work & hopefully then arrange a six monthly contract with him.He is a very pleasant & professional man & with what we have experienced so far we would definitely recommend him.

Our pond needed relining and a new filter. Work started shortly after the quote (same week). John turned up on time and did a great job, getting all the work finished in one day, which wasn't an easy task. He was professional and knowledgeable - I would definitely recommend and we will be using Clearview Ponds for an annual service/clean from now on.

Many company's viewed the work that had to be done on the pond and basically bottled it,john came,priced it up and started the long haul of completely re designing the pond,due to age and neglect.
