Best falafel in Sheffield, if not Yorkshire! The owner is so lovely and always up for chat. Everything is prepared fresh to order, using high quality ingredients.

Visited flafel house yesterday lunch whilst in the area of Sheffield for a work visit .The owner is lovely and service great. Made our flafels fresh and even gave us a free taster bite each that he made so elegantly for us. The hummous and baba ganoush was lovely and fresh along with the salad he had prepared. We got The halloumi and flafel wrap and a homilies and flak gel wrap. Both made with care and tasted great.I’m next in area once more in 3 weeks time so it will be my go to place again.Price was reasonable also for a large wrap that is toasted to perfection - makes the taste even better Cost £6.99 which is good value.

An incredible experience from start to finish! On our first visit, the owner (who is lovely) gave us lots of samples to try and they were all absolutely delicious. The chicken shwarma is divine and better than any I've ever tried! We now order takeaway from here regularly and it never fails to disappoint.

This is a true stand out place. The pickles were so good I meant to ask if they were home made. And the babaganough was light - fluffy almost - and freshly zingy with lemon. These and the humous* and the dip-specific garnishes, finished with good olive oil - somewhere between and glug and a drizzle , i.e. properly done - are enough to make this a stand out place. The felafels, properly crusted with sesame seeds and beautifully light are wonderful - and the ones** handed over the counter to try while we waited as our order was put together were done with a flourish, care and all round friendliness that that alone - even if the food wasn't so amazingly good - would be worth coming here for a take out.As a final note, the quality and care put into what we had here makes me think the chicken and lamb shawamas would be worth a return visit.* The humus here clearly had the proper proportion of tahini to chickpeas - too many places or varieties of shop bought humus go light on the tahini and as a result the dip is not creamy enough, lacks flavour and sometimes seems soggy - not here. This is good humus.** dressed with a dollop of babaganough, homus and finely just-chopped parsleyFelafel House is amazing. It's up there with my two other levantine favourites: the Nachtigall Imbiss in Berlin and Abul's, on the corner of Elizabeth and Crown in Sydney. These and the Felafel House are all places to visit if you want to taste how amazingly good good arabic levantine street food and proper sit-down for a family meal cooking are. I would make a detour - and have done so for all of these places. While I think the Felafel House is only take out, there is some outside seating and I noticed some of the other reviews have images of nicely plated food.
