Love it here. Wish they took card

If these guys did a loyalty card we would be slightly rounder than we are .Been a customer of over 10 years and still the only one we use. Only criticism is the chips are hit and miss at times but the taste and quality of the food is always a winner.

We normally come here for take out because the food is nice. Today however we drove 20 mins (there and back) and had to wait an extra 5 minutes in the shop for our order. When we got home we found that we were short 2 curry sauces. We rang up and drove all the way back to pick up forgotten items. We were then told that we didn't order curry sauce (we definitely did, the lady on the phone repeated our order twice). It was £42.10 so we were either overcharged or it was forgotten and we were blamed. We were then told off for the way we spoke to the girl on the phone. My mum was a bit firm (her food was going to get cold and she had to go all the way back for 2 items) but she was not horrible. The girl on the phone sounded like she didn't care and wasn't bothered and didn't try to find a solution, my mum had to ask for one. She was then called a liar in the shop. Food was cold by the time she got home. Even though we apparently never paid for the curry sauce we were told it would be free although my mum insisted on paying if it wasnt paid for the in first place. Considering it's the public who keep the business afloat, attitude isn't great. Won't be going back.

Always good food. Always busy which tells you a lot about the food.

We had a takeaway, had a few different dishes. Was late by half an hour, we called and were told there was a road closure which is fine. They were polite nonetheless. The food appears to be hit and miss. We had chicken chop suey which had the texture of wallpaper paste and we had to throw out. The chicken fried rice was a bit tasteless. Chips were average. Chicken chow mein was bland. The ok chicken I found fantastic my wife said it was a bit overpowering but maybe that is just a difference in taste . We have used before and we're ok however we don't think we will use again

We've never had a problem from lucky house. Food is good, portion size is good beef fried rice serves 2!. Customer service is very good, always polite. Not tried delivery service so cannot comment on that.I do wish they'd do a taste all, mini dishes so you can try different things
