Shocking repair job done on my family heirloom clock. We wanted the inner workings and face repaired on this handmade ceramic clock my mother made over 60 years ago. But what we got was a shoddy repair which had been done without glue so that small white sticky pads were clearly left showing. And he wanted nearly £40 for such a terrible job! We refused the clock and are looking for a competent jewleler who can do a decent job.The owner has a offensive, arrogant attitude which just added insult to injury.Run, don't walk away from this incompetent, irresponsible hustler.

Place to go you need engraving done, excellent service.

I was very disappointed with this jewelers, not the staff but the owner!My husband bought me a watch for my anniversary which had 2 yr guarantee with it. I wore it once and it fell off my wrist, because the pin on the strap broke fortunately I had a coat on and the watch was caught in the wrist bit. I returned with it and the owner mended it and said it's fixed. I wore it yet again few months later for special occasion ( I normally wear a fitbit) and yet again it fell off the pin again broke. Fortunately again I had a coat on which caught the watch. So I took it back to the shop and said it's not really any good you fixing it again because if it falls off again when I'm not wearing a coat it will be lost and I won't have a watch. He proceeded to take the guarantee out of the box and say over and over very abusive read point 2" which says the guarantee doesn't cover the bracelet. I tried to reason that he had sold me a watch that was no good to me. He said he had sold many others like mine and had no complaints which left me feeling as though I had purposely broke it. He was so unpleasant to deal with. I certainly wouldn't ever return to the shop and certainly wouldn't encourage any one else to shop there."
