St Gwyndaf Church

This 12th century church has plenty of history to explore, but be sure to take a look at the rather tattered Welsh Language Bible which dates back to 1797 when the last invasion of Great Britain took place. The force of 1400 French soldiers that came ashore here, ransacked the church but the locals took it upon themselves to retrieve this Bible for safekeeping.
