I think its about time I left my review for Simon @HDSCO. i first found hand dyed when he had not been long established and he'd dyed a pair of purple brogues and I fell in love with the uniqueness of these shoes, and decided these would be my wedding shoes. i got to meet the man himself around march 2019 and we came up with the images found in this review. the whole experience was amazing and everyone at some point should get to but a pair of shoes this way! I had a little trouble with the sizes but Simon took this in his stride and I don't think he ever broke a sweat. our wedding got postponed due to covid and these shoes will always be a reminder of that due to the date been embossed in them, but I did finally get to wear them on my wedding day 11 months later and I have to say they are the most comfy shoes I have ever worn they fit perfect and 16 hours after putting them on they was as comfy as id just slid them on.thank you Simon for creating this master piece

Simon is passionate about shoes and provides a truly great service.I was visiting for some bespoke shoes to wear on stage when performing with Boys of Brass. Something a little different – which is hopefully what I will receive in a few weeks!Highly recommend for something classy, different, bespoke wrapped up with great service from the HDSC HQ in Durham.

I had a truly uniques and pleasurable experience with Simon this weekend, and whilst not wanting to ruin any future customers surprises, you have to stay over, and experience the whole quality package that Simon and his business offers, absolutely amazing, i guarantee you will have never had as beautiful experience in a long time, if ever, this kind of service should be the norm, but frankly Simon is unique. Fantastic experience and fantastic shoes! I recently got my wedding shoes from here as a treat from my wife to be. The experience of going into see Simon was amazing, such a great day. Simon is very knowledgeable and clearly so passionate about what he does. When my shoes arrived the material on one of the sections was the wrong material - the way it was sorted out by Simon and his team was second to none. Mistakes happen and sometimes things do not go exactly to plan but you can find out more about a business when something does actually go wrong. It was dealt with superbly and I now have the correct shoes. They are incredible - quality is spot on and I've never had shoes that fit like these do! The whole experience of designing your own shoes right through to actually receiving the shoes with a handwritten note from Simon is all spot on. I will be back for more for sure. Highly recommended.

This is a very highly recommended experience. Choosing your own design, colours and textures in a manner which makes you feel a million dollars ( or pounds?). Great surroundings and a stylish room with yourself the focus for a terrific hour. Simon is a very interesting and affable bloke and the quality of his shoes is second to none. Looking forward to my Bespoke initialled Mr.Bovine in brown and olive green.

My partner has 3 pairs from Simon, and I've just ordered my first pair, very excited!!Could not find someone more genuine, creating something so personal of beautiful quality. Always a pleasure!

Visited Simon this morning at his Studio outside Durham. I must say an absolute pleasure, made to feel at ease straight away, nice cup of coffee and a chat to start. The whole design process and guidance from Simon was a great experience, and I would highly recommend it to all.
