Micklehead Dog Run

We loved it here...dogs had a fantastic run around the woodland area which is very secure for my 2 xl's and me n the kids had a good walk to get our steps in...we will definitely be back ♥️

Have used Micklehead dog run, indoor run and woodland walk numerous times over the last year and a half.Easy booking online and easy to swap any dates that I no longer need via email to the owner.Woodland walk is by far our favourite for a good sniffari!Only issue we ever have is people leaving toy debris instead of cleaning it up, and occasionally missed dog poop left by others.

Great place to let your dog have a good run off the leash, and get some training. There's water available and even a place to sit, and a hut for when it rains. The fences are a decent height as well.

We have been numerous times on the different paddocks and the woodland walk. Unfortunately we won't be going back! Three occasions now we have gone to the woodland walk and due to incompetent people not using the occupied/unoccupied signs as they should we have waited outside wasting our time and then have entered and inconsiderate people have run over into our time and have also had their day mixed up and gone in on our time slot, so all dogs were off their leads and resulted in two of mine, one being a pup getting hurt and crying because one of the other dogs was rough. We are paying to take our dogs for the time stated so they can run and explore in a safe and stress free environment and what we have been getting is the complete opposite! Never going back again!

Easy to book for one dog or more to exercise in a safe, contained environment. Water available to top up dog bowl and give dog a quick rinse before leaving.

Brilliant! Lovely walk the forest is about the size of 3 football fields and there’s also an extra enclosed field at the top. It was fantastic to see our two dogs able to run free and enjoy it so much. Nice to relax and not worry about bumping into anyone. Great hosepipe near buildings to hose them down! Highly recommended

We booked the woodland run. Really good that you have to go through 3 padlocked gates to get into the actual woodland, I also liked that there is a vacant/occupied sign that you use so people know not to enter when it's in use. There are a couple of large potholes to avoid when parking and there was one area of the fencing we were a bit nervy about, in the top righthand corner of the woodland there seemed to be a bit of fencing that wasn't as secure as the rest and then an area that looked like it was just trees and cut down shrubs (I may be wrong and there could be fencing behind it that I couldn't see possibly) our dog looks for any way out and loves a challenge so that did make us a bit nervous. That being said she had the best time, she was exhausted afterwards and we will definitely book again.
