Good memories of this place. Needs regenerating with the British Airways funding like the council promised though rather than just build a row of compromising small-scale business shops and a very strange stationary light sculpture. Great for a location to photograph the West Pier. Not much else other than walking your dog or sneaking off for a shuftie

I've lived in and loved this square for over a decade and wouldn't want to be anywhere else, it's vibrant and alive in the summer with people sunbathing on the green or sitting on benches, people meet their dogs on the green and it's usually very social and even has its own society. Nice to live in an area of historical importance with the i360 Tower over the road along with what remains of the mysteriously derelict West Pier

Although the top part always has homeless people camping out there in tents, it's a nice park with the bottom part having a great view, being reasonably clean and even has a few benches. View of the ocean from here and the i360.

Great bit of greeny to escape the traffic. Nice bit of shade to view the i360 and the sea.

Regency Square, Brighton
Regency Square in Brighton, is a large early 19th-century residential development on the seafront. It was built over a period of 10 years, from 1818–1828, on one of the fields surrounding the fishing village.Earlier, in 1793, a 10,000-man military encampment (Brighton's first) was established here in response to the increased military threat from France. With a reputation as a place for women to find partners, it became the setting for Jane Austen's most loved novel of all time 'Pride and Prejudice'!Today Regency Square houses boutique hotels and attractive homes in the very heart of one of Britain’s most successful cities - Brighton!
