Beers good, nice pint after a hard day's graft. Food chips cooked on old old and burnt and the rest not much better, the staff are pleasant and cheerful. Atmosphere ok but the language can be a bit strong at times so don't go their if it offends.

Entered from rear/ car park ...cellar bar was deserted, went up some stairs, no signs, met by yappy dogs ( private quarters?). Tried a door with no signs on it... yep the bar. Friendly service, nice food, brought to table by the chef himself.Absolute shame that after we paid the bill a dog, 1 of the owners dogs (?) came into dining area and wee'd by the table next to us !!!!!! leaving unhygienic puddle on floor. Yuk!

Nice pub and hospitable staff, but portions are tiny. Ordered burger and paid £1 extra for a topping of literally three onion slices. A handful of chips and a tiny bit of salad which could only be described as garnish.The chips were nice but really not enough of them.Food quantity and quality could be improved.

Absolutely brilliant pub Halloween party was fantastic highly recommended staff and regulars cant do enough so friendly my grandson has really enjoyed himself

We came for a late dinner for 24 of us before heading off on a night hike. The food was terrific. The pork belly, the soup, the braised steak, the roast chicken all delicious with super generous portions. Enough to carry us over Snowdon in a snowstorm! Lovely atmosphere and even a bit of Karaoke. Great food and loads of fun. Big thanks to Sid, Portia, Tom and the team for a brilliant night. .
