Burrows Recovery

Burrows Recovery attended on behalf of the RAC when a suspension joint failed on my car.The recovery operative was polite, friendly and very professional, a credit to Burrows Recovery. The service I received was excellent.

We were broke down close to download festival yesterday whilst leaving, our engine temp light came on the dash. So called the AA for roadside assistance, and our case was passed onto burrows. After waiting 2.5 hours for them to come, even though we were told he would be with us an hour before he actually arrived, he finally came. He was very blunt and completely unfriendly. He found the issue and we were told that we would have to be recovered as he could not fix the issue. We then asked whether we had to call the AA back to inform them of recovery, but he told us that he would refer our case onto the AA for us. He then drove off without calling the AA, leaving us waiting for a call for an hour that was never going to come, yet again wasting our time (which we needed lots of as we were stranded with a broken car, 160 miles away from home). Overall very very disappointing with unfriendly and unsympathetic staff. Would NOT recommend if you’re in dire straits, as you’ll most likely be passed on with no regard for your situation.

Bloke was called Freddie, who went the extra mile in service; charged my phone for me, really looked after my broken down motorbike, made sure it was not going to get scratched and no squashing on the seat etc.. really funny bloke, my mood was triggered from getting messed about by RAC when he turned up, but he instantly put me at ease... absolute legend.

Car died 20 odd miles from home, green flag sent Burrows Recovery LTD out to me, first engineer came out to assess, said the car needed recovering, he went on his PDA got me all booked in a left. I got a text saying about 90 mins till recovery could get to me so I was like ok no worries, 20 minutes later Tristan pulls up hooks my car up and lets me get inside the warm truck. I need to say this clearly, I don’t get into cars with men I don’t know and I was anxious but had no other way of getting home, Tristan was the nicest human I’ve ever met, he spoke to me the entire way home telling me about his family and his knowledge of cars he really put me at ease. I was home quickly and efficiently I can not thank this company enough if I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would.

Have just used this company today through greenflag.The driver freddy was excellant attended after my partners van broke down in long eaton was towed back to a local garage in heanor where we live nothingto much trouble for this guy he is a credit to your company he clearly enjoys his job.

Broke down on my way home from a camping trip . Breakdown truck arrived very quickly, and the man spotted the problem right away . It could not be repaired on the roadside, so he arranged a truck to pick up my van. Again arrived very quicklyBoth the drivers that dealt with me were polite and helpful.

14/08/23. Burrows attended my breakdown and recovery of car to my home address.Dale the driver was very professional and immediately ascertained the fault.I am happy to recommend Burrows Recovery Services.

Had a super fast, smooth and easy experience when my drift car broke down, Dale was fantastic with his knowledge also, reported recovered and home within 2 hours at rush hour.
