Mobility Extra

I've had a positive experience with Mobility Extra so far. I Ordered online and my MX-2 folding electric wheelchair was delivered within 3 days. It fits neatly into my small car boot. It's very sturdy and I feel safe travelling outside on it. It's also nippy for around the home. I bought it to enhance my independence. When I go out, my son does not have to push me anymore and we can enjoy our fun days out, hospital visits and shopping with ease. It weighs around 29Kg's with Batteries.

Received my new Mobility Extra electric wheelchair last week and I absolutely love it. Decided to sell on my manual wheelchair and large mobility scooter to get this and so pleased with the decision. Extremely well priced for an excellent quality and sturdy chair. Speedy delivery and well packaged. Definitely recommend Mobility Extra.

I got the MX-PRO a few weeks back now. I can’t get over how comfortable it is and how easy it is to control. It feels very sturdy and well made, considering how small the springs are for the suspension it is also comfortable going over the occasional pot hole or raised curb.For myself I knew the weight would be an issue for getting the chair in and out of my car boot, so I got a portable chair lift. It’s a table on wheels that raises up so you can push the chair from the table into the boot, it still requires some strength but for me is easier and safer than lifting the chair all the way.

I really love my mobility extra. Automatic folding electric wheelchair. Having a high back is an essential need for me. Yes it took me a few days to get used to the joystick. But now got it. I've been shopping on it and was great. I also bought a transport large wheeled chair. Great to.

Three weeks ago I bought a Mobility Extra MX-1, and I'm delighted with it. My illness has reduced the capability of my legs, but with the chair I can still scoot around the shops and cafes, make my way round town, and even join my daughter on dog walks. Even on reasonably dry grass fields, though not when it gets wet I suspect.The chair folds easily and goes in the back of the car.I bought an extra battery, not necessarily because it was needed, but so I can always run the in use one right down (to prevent memory effect) and know I always have a viable backup to get me home.One not so obvious benefit of the MX-1 is that it comes absolutely fully assembled. That is a real time saver! Really pleased with my purchase and would thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic service from Stephen and his team , answered all my questions swiftly before I purchased the MX 2 wheelchair, and checked that I was happy with the size of the wheelchair. The wheelchair itself is so easy to fold and unfold and having to ability to have two batteries on board takes out the worry of using for long distances . The wheelchair is so easy to use and I would highly recommend Mobility Extra for such a easy straightforward transaction , I didn’t feel pressured into any sale , this company just wanted to make sure that the wheelchair was suitable for my requirements .. excellent service !! The model we bought was the MX-1 Lightweight Folding Electric Wheelchair. The Company - Mobility Extra - made the whole experience from initial contact through purchasing to delivery very straightforward and pain-free, with excellent communication throughout, and delivery to schedule as promised. I would have no hesitation in going back for more products.The wheelchair arrived well-packaged, with very little work required to get up and running. The battery had probably 70% charge out of the box, and we followed the instructions about discharging and subsequent initial extended charge period.We had some previous experience with mobility scooters and electric wheelchairs, and decided that the MX-1 looked like an ideal fit for our intended uses. The wheelchair has performed excellently, allowing us to undertake various adventures which would have been either extremely difficult or practically impossible without it. We have taken it in the car, on the train, on the bus - both in the luggage hold and in the wheelchair area of the cabin -, to hotels, in lifts, in shopping malls, supermarkets, parks, pubs, theatres, and so on. Because it is able to rotate essentially on its own footprint, there are very few places that we would want to access which are out of reach. It came with a remote control, which is not strictly essential but has proven useful on occasion.We have been using the wheelchair for the last month or so, and - in short - we are very happy customers, very happy with our purchase.
