I cannot recommend Jonathan Bickle Photography highly enough. Upon meeting Jonathan, my husband and I straight away knew he was the right person to capture our big day. Not only was his material fantastic, he has a great personality too, which is so important as your photographer is around you all day and you want someone who you feel comfortable with. On the day itself, he was just fantastic, captured beautiful natural moments and was so efficient in ensuring all our group shots did not take too long to complete. So many of our wedding guests commented how great Jonathan was and his photos did not disappoint either...we are absolutely thrilled with them. Thank you so much Jonathan.

Jonathan was the photographer at our wedding back in July this year and from start to finish the service and quality of photos were amazing. He has a true passion for photography and had a very calming personality which put us at ease through the day. Jonathan captured some great moments without having an over the top presence , he blended in with all the guests. The option for a pre wedding shoot gave us an opportunity to see what was to come and for Jonathan to get to know us.The photos were amazing and was money well spent to capture our special day. We highly recommend Jonathan bickle photography, very professional and top quality.

What an absolute joy it has been to work with Jonathan for our wedding (26th June 2021). I can honestly say from all of the suppliers we used for our DIY wedding, Jonathan has been one of my favourites to work with.His lovely Geordie self is so calm, professional and passionate and this was so clear to us right from the beginning.We have since seen our engagement shoot photos which myself and Jonathan had to reschedule a few times due to the covid19 restrictions. At no point did Jonathan make the rescheduling difficult, he was very accommodating. This was clear when we had to reschedule our wedding day too and our engagement shoot. Jonathan showed great communication, a calming and empathetic approach when rescheduling with him on both accounts.In addition to this the Thursday before our wedding we had a technical issue with some photos we wanted to use at our wedding. Jonathan went above and beyond to help us solve this issue. This just shows what a lovely guy he really is!The photos from our engagement shoot and a few sneak peak photos from our wedding day that we have seen so far are absolutely stunning! I thought I had no more happy tears until he sent these through. Not only do they look professional but he has captured us so naturally and shows our personalities absolutely spot on. All our guests have been very complimentary regarding the photography.A special mention is needed to Jonathan's colleague Mark who we hired as a second photographer on our wedding day, he focused on capturing the grooms party on the morning of our wedding. He equally showed professionalism and passion and was a joy to work with throughout the whole day.We have no concerns highly recommending using Jonathan as a photographer. What can I say… Jonathan was the absolute perfect choice for our wedding photography.From the moment I booked him he was super helpful, nothing was too much to ask and the communication was always prompt and really informative. The system he uses for the contract, invoice and photography questionnaire (where you can detail which group photos you would like etc) was so straight forward and easy to use.Onto the actual wedding day, when he arrived he came to find me in the room, said the hellos and started clicking away on the camera. He didn’t get in the way of the other suppliers and was so discreet when taking the photos throughout the whole day, on numerous occasions we forget he was there, which is more a reflection on his professionalism rather than his personality (he is the loveliest guy)!On one occasion, my niece and her father were dancing on the terrace outside and I caught Jonathan hiding behind one of our flower pedestals to capture the moment without alerting them to his presence. The style of photos I like and the style that Jonathan is great at is capturing the natural moments of people just being themselves and enjoying the day which is exactly what he did throughout, all without intruding into any moments of the day.On the shoots with my now husband and I, we disappeared onto the golf course of our venue (which Jonathan had already been and scoped out so he knew the best spots) and we had a really fun time including Jonathan! A little race on the golf buggies and lots of laughs and it was really lovely to have him taking the photos but also as part of the day enjoying it with us.I am truly grateful that I managed to find a photographer that could deliver on my ‘natural off guard’ photos, who not only made himself so discreet we forgot the photos were being taken, but who we also really enjoyed having there to celebrate the day with us.If you are looking for a photographer, do not hesitate in choosing Jonathan, I am so glad we did, and if I had to do the day again I would choose him again 100%!Absolutely perfect!

We can't thank Jonathan enough for capturing our special moments over the past 12 months, from our engagement shoot last year to our wedding in summer 2023 and everything in between. Jonathan photographed our wedding at the Bay Tree hotel this summer and we couldn't have asked for a better photographer! From the run up to the day itself, Jonathan was incredibly professional and made a lot of effort to find out about our guests, close friends and family - much more than we ever expected! On top of this, Jonathan was relaxed and friendly so it was great to have him there as an extra guest, something everyone there agreed with! The photos he has produced are incredible and they really capture the relaxed fun environment from the day. The full package, don't bother looking anywhere else just book Jonathan!

We cannot begin to thank Jonathan enough for all that he did for our wedding. From the moment we spoke on Zoom up until the day we received our album,we could not have asked for a better photographer. We found him to be very professional and friendly throughout the process. As two individuals whofind it awkward in front of the camera, we found Jonathan to be very calming and instantly put us ease. From the kids playing in the garden to the dodgydancing and surprise Bridesmaid shots in the evening. He captured all the tears and laughs and got some captivating and natural shots that we will treasure forever.He was so much fun to have around and he received tons of praise from all our guests. His style of photography and suggestions for our album wereperfect for telling the real story of the day. We simply cannot recommend him enough, he made the whole experience feel seamless from start to finish and is agenuinely lovely guy.

Choosing Jonathan to capture our wedding day was one of the best decisions we made.From the beginning, Jonathan was fast in communication, and it was clear that he wanted to get a comprehensive understanding of us as people, as well as the day we were planning, so that his work could be as in-keeping with the theme and our vision as possible. His preparation was very thorough, which was very reassuring.On the day, Jonathan arrived early and stayed late, putting in a real shift to make sure that all of the important moments from the day were captured. He has perfected the ‘fly-on-the-wall’, unintrusive style of photography. This meant that the moments themselves happened totally organically, and this exactly how Jonathan captured them. Nothing felt staged or forced, and this was very important to us.As for Jonathan himself, he was so much more than our wedding photographer. He used his extensive wedding experience to guide us wherever we needed it. He was always incredibly friendly and warm to interact with, and many of our guests, including children, commented on how wonderful he was with them. He helped secure the buttonholes for several of the groomsmen, and the groom. He felt more like a friend or a guest, and this was so special to have.We received the preview shots the week after the wedding, and wow, we’re blown away. Jonathan captured a marvellous silhouette shot of the happy couple which is breathtaking. Even just from these preview shots, we couldn’t be happier with the quality, the style, and the intimacy of the pictures. We’re very much looking forward to seeing the full library.In summary, you shouldn’t hesitate to hire Jonathan for whatever photography needs you have. He will be professional but friendly, unobtrusive but thorough, and a delight to be around at all times.
