Great pub in a small heritage area of Rochdale. Lots of woodwork. Pub looks old but don't know if it is. Lovely, friendly staff. Selection of real ales on handpump. Good selection of foreign beers including quite a few from Belgium. Leffe on draft. Food is delicious. Beer garden at back. This is a hidden gem, try it.

Sorry some food was cold when arrived after nearly a 2hr wait staff were very polite and pleasant atmosphere was brilliant great place

Amazing. Went there tonight with family. Ordered some delicious food, some very tasty drinks. Huge selection of beers from all over the world. Nice cost surroundings, good facilities and friendly staff. Can't rate highly enough!

Loved eating here tonight after a walk. I had the famous cheese and onion pie and beer, which was amazing. Service was fantastic, everyone was very friendly. Loved it.

Gammon steak was really nice. I asked for pineapple but got an egg with the Gammon, I would have preferred peas than the pea shoots on my plate, but that's my preference. The meal was nice, but rather have pineapple.

Really peaceful place to meet.The garden is definitely my favourite part also if the interior are properly decorated in a nice retro style.Nice choice of gin and tonics and tasty appetizers

Great place and fantastic food, been going for years. Staff are always welcoming and good atmosphere.Please bring back the blackened chicken from the old menu and it would be good to be able to eat in the pub bit like we used to, rather than just the dining area.

After a wander around the Coop museum next door, 7 of us went to The Baum for lunch. The conservatory was a great place to eat- a really pleasant place even though the sky was grey, the food choices were great. We enjoyed a mix of small dishes, salads and a portion of chips!6 had tea but I pushed the boat out and had a shandy! We felt the service and ambiance was great and though the pub isn’t old it has the feel of a Victorian pub. We really enjoyed the venue.
