Holiday Inn Express Aberdeen - Bridge of Don

Very friendly staff. Amenities are pretty basic. When we stayed the weather was the worst I had ever seen in Aberdeen. Driving torrential rain and extreme winds made the experience not so pleasant as we wanted. It was very handy that the concert we were there to see was in the buildings just outside of the hotel.

Reasonable sized rooms but little hanging space and no drawers for clothes. Shower but no bath in bathroom. Small but adequate choice of hot buffet breakfast items that was included in my room deal. Adequate parking with one level under cover

Friendly, helpful staff. Bed comfortable, loads of pillows. Room clean and warm. Shower nicely and hot with plenty pressure. Great to jump into after a long day at work. Plenty towels. Nice breakfast buffet with good selection, even if bacon had obviously been under a warming light for too long. Would happily stay there again.

Hotel was good and comfortable. Evening meal was good with a set menu if you wanted. 2 courses for £15 or 3 for £20.Breakfast was chaos this morning. Not all the hot food was there. They ran out and were not taking notice when something ran out. No orange juice either. No sausages baked beans or eggs.In the lift a sign said it would be quiet between 7:30 and 8:45 at the weekend. How wrong they were. It was very busy.

Very lovely and beautiful place. Lovely bar. Very helpful and warm receptionist. Wheel chair accessible with car park. Also wheelchair accessible car park. Wheelchair accessible lift to top floors. Great dinning area with a conference room. Also had a bar. Family friendly environment and a lovely holiday get away or relaxation place

Friendly staff and good food. Overall a good experience, but let down by poor signage.Upon arrival, the signs tell you to turn right for the car park and reception. This takes you to the rear of the hotel which is shuttered up. Quite disconcerting.When you arrive turn left and either go up the ramp to the reception or down to the basement car park.The room was clean and tidy. The aircon didnt work correctly, but that wasn't a problem. There was a weird whistling noise that appeared to come from the cladding on the external walls around the windows in a very gentle breeze. If present overnight it could have been an issue.The bed was comfy, perhaps a little soft, but fine after a long drive.Bathroom facilities were good, with a generous and powerful shower.We would book again.

Good stay arrived quite late, look a little while to organise as the payment was through a businesses credit card.That I wasn’t carrying but after 15 mins sorted room small but clean and quiet and after travelling for 9 hours, it was a welcome sight.Missed breakfast as I was called away, if it’s like any other holiday inn is anything to go buy it would of been nice.Nice view this morning.

Was a good hotel!!Temporarily closed for now as renovation works are going on..Previously closed because of Covid-19.Very limited parking as of now ! Please contact the owner for further information.

Came here on a works night out and all things considered we had a great stay. Staff were excellent and personal, sorted out a minor issue I had with a key straight away. The rooms were nice and modern, with a surprisingly large TV. Also good to see them provide different types of pillows in the room also. Breakfast in the morning was fine, nothing to complain about there!Prices in the bar were a tad overpriced, but maybe to be expected.

Pros - restaurant food was amazing (bit pricey but very good). Staff really friendly, good to chat to, helpful and keen to resolve guest issues. Decor in Bar/Restaurant area really slick and simple, nice to relax in.Cons - A/C on level 1 kaput when I stayed BUT the staff were so helpful and apologetic about it, wasn't really an issue, got a plug heater for the early mornings and luckily the weather wasn't great so the room didn't roast in the day/early evening.Wouldn't stay up here unless you're in the area for a reason (ie the exhibition centre) as it's miles from town, but for a holiday inn express it was overall pretty damn good. Hats off.
