After only meeting Alex for a short time in our home following the death of my husband I felt confident he would be handled very respectfully. His clear knowledge of all the steps required to organize the funeral was immediately evident too and he gave my family and I plenty of time to develop our ideas. He then followed up each aspect of our decisions promptly and kept us fully informed at every stage. Alex gave us suggestions regarding where we might order floral tributes and we were very happy with the choice we made. He and his team were so professional and kind on the day of the funeral and later Alex continued to give support in the planning of a Thanksgiving Service for my husband's life. We very much appreciated the way in which Alex handled the donation process with discretion and absolute confidentiality. It is so helpful to remember that this was such a dignified and fitting process and I will continue to be so thankfulfor that in future.

The service received from Thornhill’s was outstanding from the first visit through to the last. All of the organisation of my wife’s funeral by Mr Thornhill was carried out in a quiet and highly efficient manner with any questions/queries being anticipated and fully addressed in exemplary fashion. The communication from making the initial arrangements, through to the funeral itself and afterwards, was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for Mr Thornhill. It took all the stress and anxiety of the day away so that we could concentrate wholly on the service itself without being distracted by organisational matters.
