O2 Shop Coventry - The Precinct

Sorted my contract out no problem, quickly and without trying to sell me stuff I didn’t need

This is one of two different locations that I use,if I have any questions or issues regarding my mobile phone. I have been a long standing customer of O2 for a good few years and I have always had a good working relationship with the technical team members to resolve any issues I am having problems at the time.

WARNING! Don't go there! I was advised my customer service to go to the store with my problem, and when I went the guy called customer service and told me to speak to them. I spent one hour trying to get to the store, and spent another two on the phone when I could of just done that at home. I received the worst service EVER! If you want to buy a phone I advise going elsewhere. When they try selling or offering phones, they're nice people but when you have an issue they don't care.

My partners phone got stolen at the start of this week and the staff were really friendly suggesting where it might be, which is all you can really ask for in a phone store, generally seemed like nice people

1st August 2023.Although she was feeling far from well, SAFA sold me a new mobile and set it up for me. I would not have been able to do this without her help. THANK YOU Safa.(I would like to make it clear that I am rating Safa and NOT the store or the Manager.)

The female assistant's customer service was non existent. No smile. No please. No thank you. Only politeness was on me walking in as towards a potential customer increasing their sales targets being met for the week. As soon as I said I would like to leave a phone for in-warranty repair, the politeness dissolved into thin air. I felt not like a pay monthly customer of good 8yrs, but as if I went there to beg for something not mine. I went with less than 1 Yr old phone to repair as the glue on the battery cover stopped holding it together and the cover from the front camera and the sensor came off. I was made feel as if I had to explain myself why I seek the assistance rather than explain that clearly the phone wasn't manufactured well. Anything that was up to me was intact in the phone. The lady didn't ask any questions for her to get the picture right but she was dismissive straight away. Then loooong silent pauses of not speaking to me, not communicating 'give me sec please' whilst she was staring at her monitor. No parting info on the time frames of repair until I asked on nearly walking out. Very poor behaviour. Good Friday shift at about 2pm.

Being someone who isn't into tech items, I bought a galaxy tab for 150 and was told I have to buy a sim with it and it isn't optional, turns out you don't have to buy a sim with it atall! Aswell as me not realising that literally everywhere else like currys etc is 50% cheaper than this place, absolutely diabolical

Claimed to have a phone in stock but once they found out it was an upgrade didnt want to release it and wanted to save it for new connections only. Happened on 2 occasionas im now in the process of complaining. Plus the 2 staff barely spoke English to me but spoke foreign to each other constantly, luckily my friend knew what they were saying.
