What a lovely friendly place to go. Service with a chat and a smile. Food cooked fresh and first class. I tried there Wednesday special of gammon, boiled potatoes, veg and parsley sauce. Great portion and amazing quality! Try it!

Went in and Ordered a sausage sandwich to take away. It was done within two minutes, no way was it cooked fresh. The sausages were only just warm. Better cafes in the area!

I'm aware this is under new management though I'd never been before. Great spot just off the High St, it's a clean and cosy place which isn't huge but plenty of good sized tables with space between.Friendly and efficient service and a good value breakfast. Full English with an Americano was £7.50. Quality was a lot better than some other local cafes. Tinned tomatoes which is fine for me and those and the beans came in pots meaning the rest wasn't swimming in them and I could add as I wanted.All in all I was pleasantly surprised and will be heading back.
