Although anticipated, my Fathers' death was still a shock. It was my first time dealing with a death. I was on my own, and Michael helped me through every step of the funeral arrangements. From driving me to Register Dads' death, to patiently explaining procedures, to helping me with the paperwork, and to getting the music I wanted. Nothing was too much, and all done without me feeling like a burden. I could not praise him more. He is the one I always recommend to my friends and other family members.

From the time I contacted Michael to tell him of our fathers death he took the worry and burden from the family at such a very sad, emotional and unusually difficult time.He visited the house and talked us thru every process calmly, efficiently and most professionally. Micheal Bates has gone above & beyond for my family. He has organised everything! A stressful time has gone so smoothly leaving Micheal doing all the running around. He hasnt made money out of us at this very sad time. He has compassion & experience. No hard sales.. He doesnt believe in ripping people off. Just charges what he needs to charge. Was recommended this company by a work colleague, we were after a special themed coffin after speaking with Michael a draft was sent to me showing exactly what I had asked for. The delivery time was fast, the coffin was amazing, even though it was heavy duty cardboard the finish and linings were to a high standard.Thank you Bates and Family for giving my Brother a lovely send off.M.
