Deciding to update our kitchen, we contacted MBK & received great ideas & advice from Stewart. In visits to both our place & his showroom, he was always on time & courteous & when it came to getting the design as we wanted it,, nothing was too much trouble. The quality of the units are first class & the workmanship & finish on our kitchen is excellent. We would certainly recommend & use MBK again.

I will explain why 4 stars instead of 5 first. This is simply that we found all the PDF's and attachments in the emails we received quite complicated and were at first unable to figure out what the total cost for supply and fitting.That said, we have been extremely happy with everything else; supply of our bathroom, the design, the quality and the fitting.Appointments were kept on time and the work was more or less completed within the agreed time frame. We had a fully functioning bathroom but the fitters did have to come back a couple of weeks later with the finishing touches.At the end of the day we were delighted with the finished result and I would certainly recommend MBK.

We have used MBK Design Studio on numerous occasions for both Kitchens and Bathrooms, have recommended them to family and friends too. They have always been extremely professional in their attitude, and competitive in their pricing. Recently we have purchased our dream oven (NEFF) from them which was delivered on time, and is being fully enjoyed!!!.

We recently purchased a brand new kitchen for our house extension. Living in an extended family, the kitchen needed to suit all types of cooking and have plenty of space to prepare.From the moment we met with Stewart, he understood exactly what we wanted. Stewart took a great deal of time to find out exactly how we would use our kitchen, he suggested some fantastic ideas and was easy to work with.Stewart's enthusiasm for and understanding of an unconventional project was really appreciated and we now have a kitchen that meets all our expectations from aesthetic and practical viewpoint.We personally love how we can empty the dishwasher and put the dishes away in the drawer without moving a step.Stewart was able to offer bespoke options to our kitchen breakfast area with open shelving, an area for the toaster and combining a hot tap and small sink, all hidden away with bifolding doors. The level of service and quality of product is second to none. His professionalism, advice, experience and attention to detail are excellent.The installers arrived on the appointed start date and their craftsmanship was first rate, nothing was too much trouble.We couldn’t be more thrilled with our kitchen and the overall experience and dealings with Stewart and the team at MBK.The finished kitchen is simply wonderful and I would recommend MBK to anyone wanting a dream kitchen.

We have used Stewart to design, source and install 3 kitchens in various properties since 2015 and we are very pleased with all the work that he has done for us. We are currently in the process of designing a new ensuite bathroom, and there was only one choice for us - MBK. Stewart always has useful ideas and has always found a way to make our budget stretch further than we initially thought was possible. I would highly recommend Stewart to anyone that is planning a new kitchen or bathroom - you will end up with a superb quality product with great customer service.

I chose MBK because I wanted a small company who could offer honest design and supply advice with good quality products and fair prices. With Stewart and his team I got great service and would happily recommend them to anyone embarking on a new bathroom. Despite me taking several years from the initial contact with MBK to actually embarking on the project, Stewart was happy to spend the time over several visits for me to finally decide on the design and choice and bathroom furniture. Thank you, I am delighted with my new bathroom.

Firstly, I must say that generally, we are happy with the end result of our complete new bathroom replacement project.Although this feedback is under the “MBK Design” heading, and the “supply” is by MBK, and the installation is by the “installation” company, the installation was on the recommendation of MBK, and all discussions on the installation and it’s pricing were via MBK, the installation company was not disclosed to us until I’d paid a deposit and signed a contract with MBK.Firstly, my comments on MBK – We always dealt with Stuart, who fully understood what we wanted, and what we wanted to achieve. He was very helpful, and very knowledgeable on the various products available, and offered recommendations and suggestions along the way, which resulted in us getting pretty much exactly the look and feel of what we wanted. One of the areas my wife was concerned about was Project Management. Stuart told us in a meeting at his office (before we’d signed contracts & paid a deposit), that he would be providing the Project Management, and would be visiting site 2-3 times a week during the install – to date, around 5 months after completion of our project, Stuart hasn’t been to site once – in fact when mentioning this to the installation manager, his reply was that he (the installation manager) always did the project management. We also had a problem with late notice tile availability, which would’ve resulted in around a 6 week delay, so we ended up having to choose different tiles. I must also mention that Stuart always tried to help when there were any issues, and has also done so with any queries since.Now I will comment on the installation company, as recommended by MBK, and yes, I guess MBK will say that I could’ve got my own installation company, but that would’ve created some issues with supply/collection/return of damaged or incorrect product etc. So, we signed a contract with “JS Plumbing”, who’s installation manager was Jamie Scott. Jamie was always very polite & helpful, he also was clearly very knowledgeable within his field, and spoke to us on a couple of occasions with regards to slight “tweaks” and suggestions on small changes which would benefit our project, some of which we took on board, and he implemented. It was estimated that our project would take 3 weeks, it ended up taking 4.5 weeks. A couple of days of this was down to having to select a different tile, another few days was down to rectifying a problem with water getting passed some grouting on the preformed shower tray. The rest was due to Jamie’s time spent on site, which at times seemed limited, but then when we mentioned to him about the completion deadline fast approaching, he would put in the hours. Our biggest disappointment with JS Plumbing was that despite asking on 5-6 occasions, maybe more, and Jamie apologizing and telling us, he will get it sorted, we still haven’t received our electrical certification for the electrical works associated with our project, which was all part of our signed contract with JS Plumbing, and is something that we have paid for, yet never received.I have now given up on ever receiving the electrical certification. On speaking to Stuart at MBK, he has told me that JS Plumbing has now ceased trading !.So would I recommend MBK to others ?, all I would say is make your own mind up, but, do your homework on whatever installation companies MBK recommend for your project, as in our case, sadly the installation company MBK recommended to me, have not fulfilled the signed contractual obligations that we signed up for with them, and paid for. Also, any warranty on our installation is now worthless if JS Plumbing have now gone out of business. So, I now have no warranty, and I have my fingers crossed that no issues develop with our project.

We contacted MBK for a quote for 2 new bathrooms including power shower. They came, spent a lot of time measuring up, and then back at the showroom showed us all the options we could choose, suggesting which components would sit well with each other and explaining the pros and cons of the various options. We took a long time to think about it, changed our minds a few times and each time the company took it all in its stride. We are very happy with the design, delivery, and installation of the bathrooms and will be asking the company to quote for our kitchen upgrade in the near future.

My 76 year old Aunty who is disabled used the services" of this firm for a shower room to be re tiled & new shower fitted lower. 3 weeks later its still not nowhere near finished after being told it would take 1 week to finish. Communication is horrendous
