Lovely function room. We use this for all family do's. Well stocked bar, friendly staff. Brilliant little place.

First visit with family not seen for 55+yrs. Seems a good Club. Regular weekend entertainment. Beers reasonably priced.

You buy tickets for a tribute night yet you have to pay extra for your drinks because you are not a member of the club yet iff members came to my club laisterdyke working men's club you would have paid the same price as our members shame on you I came to see the turn let my club down the money I spent could have put money into my club funds never again will I set my foot in your club again

I booked my Daughter’s 16th birthday party here that started at 7pm on Friday 10th December 2021 & got cancelled by staff at 10pm I decorated this room myself chair covers, balloon hoop, tables, food ect I put a lot of time effort & money into this party for most of food to be waisted for the staff to cancel saying a lady had rang club saying her daughter was paralytic is the words staff used, down tyersal road this was never proved & I asked to speak with the lady on the phone & was refused by staff. No girl was missing from our party. I think this may of been made up to cancel our party. All guests, children teenagers were very well behaved so do not understand this! There was no mess or damage done by anyone I then cleaned the room from 10.15pm the same evening & finished cleaning & packing my chair covers sometime after midnight I then returned to collect my items the following day to ask Gareth for my deposit back & he was still not been very nice & said I would have to wait until manager says I can or can not have it back? luckily for me manager rang same day to say room was clean & there was no damage so to come collect my deposit I am just very very disappointed & find this disgusting behaviour from staff please be carful & cautious when booking here. My two children then had there names removed from the Christmas Santa list two days later to this party. was this a coincidence? Friends & Family was very shocked & disappointed to see them do this to us. Avoid in my opinion with my experience. Beautiful night that got spoiled by staff very disappointing. Yes you tried to cancel this party at 9.30pm first of all no children were drunk & you never seen any child drinking because if this was true you would of asked me to remove them not all the children you was very rude all staff you said we had 3 warnings but only gave two then? Also my children’s names were removed until I went to bar not once but twice for you to sort this out disrespectful very rude behaviour here! Also we did remove any one found with alcohol on them so why was this taken out on us & other guests & family to stop this party? & why was all staff apologetic if we was in the wrong?? No you are now telling lies This was totally wrong of you to do to us!! My deposit was taken by that member of staff so should of been able to give back after checking room? Then from a call the same member of staff then did give me my deposit back? Also your staff did say it was cancelled because of the girl on tyersal road they even turned music off & lights on at this point! so please don’t lie you or I never seen one child drinking & as for them bottles I was never shown them on the night ? so please don’t try lie ask your staff again. You also made my guests leave this party via fire door at back of club & would not let them though the front doors to get out? because you had a band on in front room. This was very unprofessional girls was very muddy & falling leaving via that door! Very unprofessional if you ask me! I also only had two half’s all this night as bar shutters then got shut on my guests & family for no reason by you. Will not be going here ever again with my family experience.

Great little club and Attended for wedding do, great hospitality and very friendly good ale and nice hall.

A Few years since I was in This Club. Then it was when certain Mr Harry Bird was Steward.The club it's self hasn't altered, but to Say it's out of the way credit given to ever is running it. It's very clean and the Staff are on the Ball and Polite too BOOT. Tonight was my Daughters Silver Wedding Anniversary and it was a night to Remember. Thank You.
