The best Qigong and Taiji classes in Edinburgh! I have tried other classes but these guys teach with a wisdom and authenticity that is second to none. They have a fantastic range of classes for beginners and advanced practitioners with a strong meditative quality at the heart of it all. Highly recommend!

Really authentic Qigong and Meditation teachings.I have been attending their classes for four years now, and seen beautiful, lasting transformation in my body and mind.

Gathering Essence have a range of classes but it's the Hot Yoga (taught by the brilliant Johanna and Riku) that has me hooked. They heat the room to a cosy 38 degrees and then lead you through a series of yoga poses that leave you all stretched out (and dripping with sweat!). If you do the hour long class, it always feels much shorter than that – which I take to be a good sign. If normal yoga bores you, then you should definitely give this a go – it feels like a proper work-out and it's nice and warm too!

First time I tried qigong at a venue, this is a very good place if you have never tried qigong before. The interior is so cozy and beautiful and you walk out of there with a warm and calm feeling.
