Louie Horrocks Park
I enjoy coming to this pleasant and popular small park just round the corner from the Highfield Road shops and cafes. Lots of grassy space with well tended shrubs and a few shady trees. There's a fun play area for the kids and an enclosed space for basketball and other sports. Plenty of benches around the park if you just want to relax and a few wooden picnic tables. A nice place to take a stroll and enjoy being outdoors!

Been coming here for years and the park its lovely and well maintained, graffiti is a problem along with local troublesome kids. Park equipment is certainly in need of updating now or at least painting, anything to vamp it up. Also replacing equipment that has been taken out a long time ago now would be nice so the kids have more to do

I'm only giving it 4 stars due to the amount of dog pooh around the park. It's extreme. Other than that, great place to go. Lots of space for scooting, riding, football playing and the play park m course. A few seats and benches around too.

A good sized park to bring your children to. Lots of grass, a dedicated play area and five a side football pitch and two basket ball areas. Now needs some new apparatus and more bins and less people smoking and you're onto a winner IMHO

The plants are well maintained, but the playground is well overdue a revamp. Bumps and lumps in the floor, plus 80% of the playground equipment is quite old.
