The Lilliput Doll & Toy Museum
Nice little shop, good if looking for dolls or anything for a dolls house. There is also a mall collection of model cars here.You can also pay to go through a museum- with plenty of dolls and memorabilia. The museum is surprisingly large compared to the size of the shop. Definitely worth a visit if interested in dolls and toys as well as dolls and toys from the past.

The Lilliput Doll & Toy Museum
I visited with my wife who has a keen interest in dolls and dolls houses and she was not disappointed, neither was I. We traveled from Ryde on the number 3 bus, a stress free 20 minutes later we were there. We were greeted by a very friendly and happy lady and entered the museum, It is absolutely fascinating and will be of interest to most people, not just those with an interest in dolls and toys. We also purchased several items for my wife's dolls house, I can't imagine anything dolls house related, which isn't sold here. Overall, a fascinating place to visit, warm and friendly welcome and very easy access, what's not to like.

Very interesting display of bygone toys, mainly focusing on dolls, very reasonable entry fees (£3.50 for adults as of June 2018) only reason not 5 stars is they don't offer a information booklet about the museum and its contents which I would have loved there to have been as I would have gladly purchased one to learn more.

Really interesting little place to visit. Honestly at first I didn't think it was going to be my thing but I thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the old toys some as old as Roman and Egyptian times! Definitely give it a go if you're in the area. Lovely staff and a really nice gift shop. Pay and display car park just down the road and a quick 5 minute walk to the museum on the very same road.

What a brilliant place! Packed full of beautiful toys, especially the dolls. What a collection. I feel like I could go back tomorrow to look at it all again and notice new details. I particularly like the photos of toys with their owners and the histories given with some of the dolls. Lillias's doll! Heartbreaking!

We went as a birthday treat for my husband as we are both history nerds and we weren't disappointed. It is such a lovely little museum with a delightful collection of dolls and toys from as early as the 1700s. Some with island connections which were very moving.It was an especially nice visit as we were the only ones there so could see and read all of the exhibits at our leisure.At just under £8 for two adults it was incredibly reasonable and there's a huge range of dolls house items in the shop as well.Definitely worth a visit.
