Nice place and the food was great however the mixed grill was warm not hot as it should be. Did mention to a member of staff for which she apologised but we didn't send it back as it was nice even though a little cool. This is the only reason i gave it 4 star otherwise would have had a 5 star. Would definitely visit again .

Very busy Friday evening. Had booked in advance and got seated straight away. Starters were amazing.With main, had to go ask for a sauce I ordered and steaks were a bit too charcoaly but still delicious. Staff was friendly and very apologetic for little errors made but all in all a good meal and would visit again

Shocking experience really. Impolite staff, was told the kitchen closes at 9pm when usually later after a hard day at work. The older staff running bar seemed arrogant and felt like we were a inconvenience being there. Got 5 min warning no draft after 20:45 as cleaning pints, which why not do when bar closes. Further more 2 out of 3 dishes came out wrong. Not normally one to complain but after a hard day of work and someone who regularly stays at adjacent Premier inns I found it a diabolical experience

Party of 9 for a birthday meal extremely disheartened main meals arrived the bowl of salad that I tipped on my plate with my lasagna was not even washed after looking at the rest of the plates we returned 4 main meals (all plates were greasy not washed some still had bean juice from a previous meal along with tomato sauce on the bottom where plates were stacked) we were told by a member of management which was totally unprofessional she had shouted at the chef and kitchen staff. Not forgetting dirty glasses which were also sent back! After being told all 4 main meals will be re cooked with clean plates 2 came out still dirty plates and food reheated! The 3rd meal come out slightly cleaner plate soggy lettuce where it had been pre heated! And the 4th didn’t arrive. The toilets were absolutely filthy and not fit for use!! We were promised these were all being remade after waiting a further 40 minutes we witnessed the chef shouting at the member of management behind the bar where all customers were able to hear after he walked off throwing his toys out the pram he wiped his sweat from his forehead in his hands!! For a big food chain this is extremely disappointing I will also be leaving this review within your socials I or my family will not be returning back to your Frome flyer in Somerset. Some serious staff training and team work needs to be arranged at this restaurant.

We were in the area visiting Stourhead, so thought we'd pop into this Beefeater on the way home. It wasn't particularly busy for a Sunday afternoon which was great as we were easily allocated a table. The waitress serving us was great, I didn't catch her name but the receipt said Grace S, so if this was correct, she was helpful, she sorted out one of my desserts to takeaway, which I really appreciated.The steak on my Mixed Grill came out pretty much rare, when I'd asked for it to be Medium. They chucked this back on the grill rather than cook a fresh one.My son's meal had the chicken wings missing from it, I only realised this after though. The chips on both meals were both undercooked.Overall an average visit, not great -but not bad.

Last minute booking. Turned up, was lovely and quiet, we got there before the rush. Was 5 in the party. I felt the menu was limited to a lot of burgers but lots of options for burgers. No pizzas. 4 out of 5 from the group ordered from 2 courses for a certain amount of money. Chicken was good. Could have done with some more chips. The place was clean and tidy. There are not many dessert options. Toilets available, parking available. Staff friendly but busy. Drinks were OK, but no bottled still water available. Comfy seating.
