Had exactly what I wanted and staff were really friendly and helpful

Very few staff around, but when, after a quarter of an hour, I managed to chat with a staff member. He was very knowledgeable and had all the time to explain everything I needed to know.

We couldn't have got any better treatment than when we visited Carphone Warehouse at Broadstairs this afternoon Friday 18th September 2020 to buy a new phone. Staff were so friendly and helpful especially Laura. We were with her for nearly 2 hours. We purchased a new phone and she had so much patience with us (old biddies). Would definitely go back again. Thoroughly recommend this store. Thank you LAURA and staff. Had great deals too.

Couldn’t find what I was looking for. But plenty of helpful staff in a nice shop

Visited carphone warehouse to upgrade my Samsung phones recently, and was fortunate enough to meet Jack on mobile phone desk. He was fast amicable, knowledgeable and complient and transferred all my data from one phone to another with the least fuss. How lucky carphone warehouse are to have someone like Jack working for them. JACK is top banana.

Had good chat with staff changed my mind on a phone so still not got new one

I am usually a great fan of the carphone warehouse. Recently I have relocated from Dartford to Broadstairs, I received great service from the Dartford branch staff for years. Twice now I have attended the Broadstairs (Westwood Cross) branch within curry's pc world, coming away without any success in my purchase feeling as though the staff were not very interested in helping or advising the customer, me, as requested.It has put me off using them and moving to the internet, which to be honest, although It can be cheaper, I prefer using street shops, supporting business.

I had previously been to the Canterbury branch and came away unimpressed. BUT this depot is excellent.Maddy gave such superb customer service along with 2 other colleagues, I can recommend this shop to anybody. Just ask for Maddy for any phone you wish!

Don't bother to go , unless you are not in any hurry, or don't want any help

My review is of the company itself and not of the staff within this store. I took my phone here for a repair as I had cracked my phone screen. I knew that I would have to pay for the repairs and I have previously had a phone repaired here to a good level. I was quoted £179 for the repair and advised it would be sent away, I agreed to both.Several days later I am told the phone is back in the shop unrepaired as I was quoted the wrong price and that its £279!I was informed I would have to contact the repair line myself to discuss. When I was on the phone they could not give me any clear reason for the price increase despite having a previous phone repaired for £179 (that is of the same make).The call handler decided to make assumptions on the condition of the phone without assessing the state first. Furthermore stating it's my own responsibility for breaking the phone and that they have no association with the Westwood Branch. I acknowledged my part but was appalled with them for washing their hands of responsibility for price error. There was no acknowledgement/apology on their part for price error (as a company) and for that reason I have decided to share this review and advise people to stay clear of this company.Please consider shopping locally and supporting your local phone repairer. They may not be as well established but they would be more thoughtful with their customers and not just interested in what your three digit security code is.
