Called in for something to eat quickly during work. Didn't eat in the end as we got pushed for time but was a nice pit stop all the same. Outdoor seating and friendly atmosphere

Oh my dear. Went with my future wife and her children to celebrate good exams. Three '8' Oz steaks that turned out to be two ounces. I had to cut my morcel up and share it. I was left with undercooked chips, bland salad, one mushroom all for £17!!!! Cajun burger had zero flavour. On top of that £16 for every round of drinks. They kept us waiting for 50 minutes when the place was empty. Front of house service were great but even they must be embarrassed. I vote with my feet. The food is embarrassing and vastly overpriced. To sum it up, I was embarrassed to take my future family there. They will never get my custom or anyone else I will tell. There will be many. What a let down.

Amazing venue with great food and friendly service. We stopped in for an early dinner on our way home and delighted to find that kids eat free before 6pm.The food was great and well presented, both for the adults and the children's meals. We opted to sit in the bar area and this was a nice relaxed area. The seating in the restaurant itself looked good and the outside seating perfect for good weather.Parking is out the front and more around the back.

This pub used to be great. Easily the best Harvey’s pub around. However of late the service behind the bar has been awful. Shame as we were planning to use here for our wedding reception but will now look elsewhere

Always kind staff and the chef is always accommodating if you have kids who are a bit picky with their food! My child loves the play area as well! Mind your clothes they will get dirty!

We phoned here in hope that they had room to squeeze 4 of us in for Sunday lunch....and we were in luck. The staff were very welcoming and the service was fab even if it was a little slow. We had a bottle of prosecco and a beer, I'm not sure what the cost was as it was bought for us. We sat down, had a look at the menu and everything sounded delicious but we'd come specifically for a Sunday Roast so that's what we had. We'd seen some of the food coming out and the roasts looked massive so we skipped starters and went staight in for the main. 2 of us has the slow Roasted Belly Pork and the other 2 had the Roast Beef. When the food came out I think my mouth was actually watering. It looked and smelt amazing. The pictures don't really show it but the portion size was big. Everything was cooked perfectly. The staff really couldn't do enough for us and even sent someone off to the shops to get some apple sauce when they had run out.The food was delicious. The roasties could've done with a bit more crisping up but were still yummy. And the yorkies and crackling were amazing! So so nice. Would defo recommend. We didn't have room for a pudding but the menu looked good. The pub is quite big and was very clean. The toilets were nice too.The Roasts cost around £16 each.
