Did the job on the day but honestly, extortionate price. I called on Friday to see if they had any availability over the coming days. Monday they said, which was good however, I asked numerous times on a couple of occasions in regards to how much it would cost and I was told by Mr Julian that they would first need to see the Job. The job was for a the oil change and oil filter change - how clear can you make it. For an oil change and filter change it was £202. I have had a full service done for just less than £300. Every other garage I called they gave me an approximate quote but Julian would not. Other quotes were reasonable enough £150-£160 for approximately 1.5 hours work. So if you want to go in with your eyes closed and be charged whatever they wish to charge then it’s the perfect place. Would NOT recommend at all. 2 stars given because they were able to do the job within 3 days notice.

My automatic transmission went out and they booked me in for repairs. I honestly thought it would have been very expensive but they gave me a great deal and they did a fabulous job. They called me and asked for permission to fix additional items and told me the price which is exceptional service.A few months later I stopped by to ask if I could buy a few brake light bulbs for a different car and they just gave them to me for being a customer.This garage really cares about its customers and they do fabulous work.Thank you to everyone who works here

Can't fault my previous experiences with this business. Always charged a fair price for work carried out and explained exactly what they have done. Recently took my car to them as the engine was water damaged as they were the only garage who didn't talk about new engines or writing the car off. Repaired the car and got it back on the road in just over a day and saved me a fortune. Won't take my cars elsewhere now.

My go to garage for all services, MOTs and faults on both our cars. Always honest, reliable and keep you up to date with everything happening. Will never do any extra work without checking with you first, and always attempt to keep the cost as low as possible. Highly recommended.

The team at Clarence Rd garage are professional and so helpful. The office staff are great, so approachable for someone who hasn't got a clue about cars. The men came and recovered my car promptly and had the work done within a short while. Thank you so much for sorting the problem and getting me back on the Road. I was referred to Chris at Clarence Road Service Station through a friend and another mechanic. I had quite a specific issue on my 2014 Seat Leon ST 1.4TSI FR with the heater matrix. Myself and another garage had diagnosed the problem being a blocked heater matrix (hot air on the passenger side/cold air on the drivers side). I spoke to Chris who was aware of this common problem across Audi/VW/Skoda/Seat. He has a way of repairing them without removing all of the dash. I took it there in the morning, left it and came back at the end of the day. When I arrived back I was early and it wasn't quite ready but instead of wrapping it all up and handing it back, Chris carried on testing and even took it out for a full road test to ensure everything was working correctly.The heating in the car is working perfectly now. Chris and the garage did exactly what they said they would, repaired and tested the car and at an excellent rate. Thank you.I would highly recommend them as they genuinely saved me time and money!

Great place to have a service done on your car, a trusted service. Staff are polite and handle your car with care. They’re very informative and are quick workers. My go to whenever I need my car seen to, such a friendly bunch.
