Brilliant acts and great staff. Really nice little venue. Highly recommended for a night out. Only knocked a star off for the unbelievably long queues for the bar (even at reduced capacity) despite being in plenty of time.

Been to two different comedy shows here, and it was excellent on both occasions. Staff are well organised and friendly. The queues can get a bit big for the bar upstairs, but they are quick to serve you and you won't have to wait too long. Will be back.

I always loved this venue. Despite moving to South Wales I still make the journey on a regular basis as the quality of acts that Steve and the team put on is always phenomenal and on point.Even in the hottest ofthe room is kept at a cool temperature allowing everyone to feel comfortable throughout the entire performance. The bar staff are friendly yet efficient meaning everyone gets a drink in a timely way so no one misses the action.I always find this venue clean tidy and very well run.

Seating was the only problem, its crazy close in there. If you're sat next to some fat guy then prepare to either be consumed into his layers or pushed off your chair onto the floor.

Show hasn't started yet, but so far first impressions aren't great. Never been here before, after issue of ordering tickets online were told to order at venue, to then be told cash only when arriving, then me being 7 months pregnant didn't want to sit shoulder to shoulder with other people, asked to sit at the bacj to which her response was any reason why you won't sit with other people

Not funny at all! Altogether a dire experience. Comics resorting to asking the audience where they’re from due to lack of material. If you do go, beware, the comic on stage can hear everything said in the first four rows, even a whisper!REPLY:-No, sorry, I did not interrupt the so called 'comic' , I was invited to participate by him asking me the old 'I've run out of material' line and resorting to 'where are you from?' from the first two rows! With or without a drink, there was nothing funny here. I even asked the people I'd given my spare tickets to if this was funny and they didn't think so either. If you've done the job for thirty years, why put your so called 'trouble-maker' in the front?Marcus, I've seen plenty of comic acts in the past and this simply wasn't funny!

By far the best comedy venue in Bristol. I have been going to The Comedy Box for many years now and having been to all of the others in Bristol this is bar far the best in my opinion. They don’t allow stag/hen do’s and are keen for people to enjoy the comedy without rowdy disruption from people who clearly aren’t there for the comedy. They also book some really great acts and over the years I’ve seen many virtually unknown comedians at the time become well known names. If you’re looking for a really great night out I’d highly recommend!

If you happen to be a disabled person and need a carers ticket to watch comedy, it's not possible, even with proof. They do not allow additional tickets like other venues do, so the Comedy club is totally inaccessible to anyone who needs to employ someone to help them, unless you want to pay double every time. I had to get my ticket refunded after being told this.

I had to make a last minute change to a recent ticket purchase and they went above and beyond to help me. Very friendly and helpful staff.
