Friendly,helpful staff,clean environment.

I've had the pleasure of working at Gracewell of Hove for the past seven months and couldn't be happier. Such a lovely bright and clean home, with excellent care throughout from all staff. wouldn't hesitate to recommend it or if needs be, bring a relative of mine here to stay.

Lovely place, clean, friendly and familiar environment.Staff so kind and approachable every time we`ve been there.A pleasure to entertaining the residents with our Dancing Show @The Pines.They are engaged in many different activities so important for their wellbeing.

Mum has been here a year and its been great for her. Great for us as she is looked after like a member of the family. Everyone is so kind and friendly. Throughout the pandemic is been good to know she is looked after and has company. Would highly recommend this home

The staff makes a lot of noise. They gather in the smoking area and shout and talk. My sleep patterns have been disrupted a lot because of them.

They are out next door building and occasionally be very loud outside. We had to warn them and today call them to be quiet as we are shift workers postnights.The lady on the phone normalised loud talks as it is the smoking area, and accused us of lying by saying “it is hard for me to believe you are able to hear them”.If they are rude to their colleagues -we are NHS workers- we could not help thinking they might be rude & indifferent to patients too.We never shout at the hospital wards when patients are resting.Smoking / loud chat are not essentials. If staff want to socialise they can go to a pub after work.So heartbreaking to get this replies from colleagues and see they don’t care we need to rest post night shifts.They haven’t even apologised and continued… All we want is a little bit of respect

I have worked at this lovely home for 3 years and I can honestly say hand on heart the care the residents get is amazing , it's a happy place to live and work and I hope if I ever have to go into a nursing home when I'm older that they have room for me !!!

Lovely place. Looked after our Mum so well for her last few weeks. Really caring staff from nurses to carers, cooks and cleaners. Couldn’t do more for her and us making us feel so welcome and at home during difficult days. You couldn’t want more. Thank you. X
