My vendor are using them, we have waited 3 weeks for them to answer basic questions. 6 weeks in and no nearer a completion date. They say they will call back but never do. They don’t even bother to return calls from other solicitors. Truly an appalling company to deal with.

I had a really bad experience with Gilroy Steel when selling and buying a house with them.The communication was ZERO so it was incredibly poor despite sending several emails to communicate. The office looking after my sale and purchase was the furthest office away from the location I live, when there was an office in the town that I live. I thought that was really badly organised. All the forms was paper based which seems very prehistoric for a 2022 law firm.I ended up cancelling Gilroy Steel and choosing different solicitors as my experience was that poor.
